Just found your channel as I was looking for which leg to paddle the Ochlockonee! I was at Lower Lafayette a few weeks ago, had tons of water however a lot of the channels were clogged with bogs and hydrilla. Enjoy the videos.
@@smkauthor Yeah, from Road to the Lake. Went Jul 27th. Water was up but had to muck around 40ft from the ramp before I could get into the yak. Still an enjoyable paddle.
We just go and see. And sometimes people post on FB about spots and then we know there is enough water. And after we have a lot of rain we assume. But we had been checking this spot for two years. I had almost given up trying to paddle here!

Did you launch from the same landing as we did in the video? I went out a month after this and the water was down again.
