+aocvideo *Thanks for the demonstration.* One way of executing a Johann-Sebastian Bach string and continuo orchestration on a four-manual could use Harpsichord Back 8' on Gt GeniSys Voice 7, Harpsichord Front 8' on Ch GeniSys Voice 9, Harpsichord Center 4' on Ch GeniSys Voice 10, Contrabass on Pd GeniSys Voice 1, Strings on Sw GeniSys Voice 3, and an orchestral woodwind or brass on So GeniSys Voice 5; engaging the Ch-Pd 8' coupler would effect the _basso continuo_ synchronization of contrabass and _cembalo_ common in the Baroque.
That is absolutely brilliant! I am amazed at how Your crew continually adds innovation while preserving their dedication to the sound and feel (eg optional tracker keyboards) of the classic King of the Orchestra.
Question(s):
Does the "sustain" pedal function map only to the piano voice? If not:
- Can it be applied to non GeniSys stops?
- Is it applied only to the voice / stop or to everything on the manual?
Thomas- "Sustain" function works with any MIDI or GeniSys voice that could normally be sustained; i.e. piano, timpani, percussive voices etc. "Sostenuto" uses the same foot switch but applies only to organ voices; and holds or "latches" the organ voice indefinitely until the footswitch is released. Both of these functions can be switched on or off in the console controller at the organist's discretion.
What is the price of this organ.? Sound wonderful, and I think is appropriate for church.
