Atheism is rising because of things like this.
I just asked a Pastor that if he was all powerful and all knowing could he create a better world?
    And he said "NO"
So I asked him if the world would be better or worse if it had less earthquakes, less floods, less tsunamis, less malaria, less infant brain cancer?
And his religious belief that God is perfect and made the best world possible PREVENTED him from answering honestly and saying that a world without infant brain cancer would be a better world.
    That's why Atheism is growing.
If your religious belief forces you to have to say dumb things like a world with infant brain cancer is a better world than one without it then you need to get rid of that mental hurdle that's warping your sense of morality.

I would like to point out that you may think you are being open minded, but atheism is merely the opposite side of the same coin. Atheism is simply the idea that you believe there is nothing as opposed in believing there is something.
Let's be clear here science is a method for obtaining evidence and it does not give us a truth on its own. For one to conclude what the data suggests there must be assumptions put in place and this brings up the importance of philosophy. In modern times philosophy has been tossed aside and this has led many people to believe that our current scientific understanding of things is truth. At the end of the day your belief in current scientific dogmas is a religion "scientism".
Btw I am not suggesting you embark in exploring religion. I am in no way religious myself. In fact, I tend to think religion is just a form of control over others. @@k-3402 I am not here to argue about terms. The point I am trying to make here is atheist tend to fall victim to believing that science is truth. That is not the case. Science is a method for acquiring evidence.
I would encourage you to take a hard look at the assumptions and bias that must be put in place in order to come to any conclusion. For example, a fundamental assumption that current science operates under is "something cannot be both true and false". Now I want you to think about the implications of quantum mechanics. Quantum mechanics is evidence that contradicts the above statement. What this tells us is that even though the science of classical mechanics is useful in everyday life it is not a universal truth.
As someone that holds science in the highest regard I don't like when people approach science as a belief system. Science is a tool and is always changing as it should. 1:26:00 to 1:26:39 - There is a middle ground. Cancel culture isn't ubiquitous, but statistical evidence suggests it's much greater than it was previously.
FIRE (foundation for individual rights and freedoms) notes that it's estimated that during McCarthyism 100 professors were fired for real or imagined communist sympathies. Over the past decade or so, there were over a thousand campaigns to get professors punished for exercising academic freedom or free speech, about two-thirds succeeded, and it ended up with nearly 200 professors getting fired.

And the whole " you must accept Jesus as God or it's hell for you". Hey don't threaten me with what will happen after we die. What a cheap god. I could accept the idea of God if we all agreed we can't instruct one another about God because if God's all what it's cracked up to be, super intelligent powerful smell ability ( why not?) then how does the ant explain the ways of the man? They can't. Neither can humans say what God really means when he says x. Who does anyone think they are that they can speak on God's behalf? Shut up! And certainly the most powerful intelligence thought the best way to get its ideas out was to write it all down on papyrus have ppl debate the ideas then have copies of copies over the centuries. That will make it all crystal clear right? If there's a god I don't think you need a middle man, I don't think you need Benny hinn or Joel olsteen explain to you God's purpose and meaning. But if there's something, some universal principle then maybe we can sense it in some way like thru meditation. Idk but I do know what I see as Bs and there's a lot of it.

Since humans are not omniscient, there is no possibility to know that God doesn't exist, only God can know if He doesn't exist, which brings us to the following discoveries
    Empirical Proof of God's Existence:
    (1) 'True' entails a cognitive presence;
    (2) We know the laws of the universe were true before they were discovered by corporeal life; therefore...
    (3) Since we know the laws of the universe were also true before corporeal life existed, we therefore have identified the existence of a non-corporeal entity that knew the laws were true.
The proof that this pre-corporeal cognitive entity is God:
The cognitive entity necessarily always knew the laws of the universe were true, where, therefore, thinking about the laws' integrity is absent, thereby identifying the omniscient being called God that does not think, it knows.
The proof that there can be only one omniscient being:
The concept of two, or more, omniscient beings is an oxymoron, since omniscience requires exclusivity...only one can be all-knowing; it's an oxymoron to have two or more who are all-knowing.
    ------------------
The Trinity explained that uses a three piece puzzle, then abstracts to show how all three Persons can also be One Person...
    1. We have a three-piece cardboard puzzle that represents God and His essence, paper pulp representing His essence.
    2. The three individual pieces of the puzzle, of course, represent Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Father.
    3. So the question is, how do the three individual pieces also represent the One God? Easy, because each piece is also made of paper pulp, paper pulp representing God's essence!

¿Cómo sabes si Spinoza no tiene razón si nunca has leído Spinoza? ¿Has aprovado o has suspendido? Gracias.
