Thank you for these videos. Even though I was raised around my culture, I never paid any attention learning to speak my language. Your videos are helping me so much.
Lloyd Togisala thank you for your videos. They are helpful. I’m afa kasi, (hopefully I did that right) and I’m enjoying your videos. You are a great teacher. Looking forward to more.
Ok I Noticed you haven't posted anything for a while. Please keep them coming, it takes a while for people to know of these videos, but once found out, it's very helpful. :))
Manuia lava le taumafai. Keep making videos. Edit them as needed... Kerisimasi vs Karisimasi. My 28 year old decided he wants to learn my tongue. Thanks
Hello, I'm a mexican trying to learn Samoan for a girl I like. Your videos have been very helpful; I just had a quick question, how do you say family and friends?
Great video, however... Kerisimasi = Christmas, it comes from Kerisiano (Christian) and Keriso (Christ). So it should be Manuia le Kerisimasi, not Kalisimasi.

THE Wallsboy Family is Aiga
So, would "Happy Thanksgiving" be something like "Manuia le Aso Fa'afetai?"
Jan Renae
Sorry for the delay. You're absolutely correct. Faafetai.
Malo Sole! Manaia tele le video Lea. Very helpful for me too. Just a correction, Kerisimasi is Christmas. Not Kalisimasi, that is wrong 🙂
The 'tu' in 'Toetu' should not sound like the number two, i.e. '2', but more like 'tool' without rolling the 'L' at the end 😊🇼🇸🇦🇸

Lloyd you mispronounce 'fanau' as 'fah-NOW'. It should sound more like 'fah-NUL' without rolling the letter 'L' at the end 😊
