Was good to see Hartlepool’s ex players see the ball go into the net for the Hartlepool win
ive been a rovers fan since the age of 8 and im 32 now so ive seen quite a few managers come and go and ive tried to give every one of them the benefit of the doubt and mcsheffreys no different, and im not one who normally calls for a manager to leave but i just feel hes been given enough time now to build his own squad and put his stamp on things and he just hasnt done that for me, were just too inconsistent well win 2 and lose 3 , and he doesnt seem to know how to change things tactically when things arent going our way regardless of the result we just cant carry on with these poor performances and relying on luck as we have for most of this season we need to earn wins instead of coming away feeling how have we won this game or got a draw out of this game and only twice have i felt weve done that stockport at home and northampton away and thats just not good enough, and we need to stop using injuries as an excuse yeah we were missing key players but we still had a team capable of getting a result last night and we folded . no doubt hes a nice guy and potentially a great coach in the future when hes had more experience, but i just feel we need to go in another direction with an experienced manager.
Agree on all points, but we've been saying the same things since he first got the job, Baldwin and Co will just not eat humble pie.
@@owstonlad3859 totally agree mate theyll probably wait until its impossible to get promotion then let him go thats too late we need to act soon get someone in in time to get to know the squad and before the window opens but reality is we probably wont
@@matthewroberts5396 it,s inevitable he will go at some point this season | then what ? the cheap option again with no proper investment , we need another john ryan to do anything , just hope we dont do a scunthorpe
@@markpowney9776 well surely we wont go for the cheap option again surely not but knowing our board we probably will. I dont dislike or have anything against mcsheffrey hes give it his best shot and fair play to him but hes just too inexperienced ,i just feel we need to make a change a fresh start someone experienced to come in and put their stamp on things but will the board front the money up for that person well soon see
And i hope to god we dont end up like scunthorpe either that would be disastrous
