I’m surprised the machine didn’t just give up after the “52” appeared on screen. If I was the machine, I would be crying “just take every marble in here, just please leave already!”

Some say he's still there today collecting his jackpot.

Played it. I know it’s not as great. Still better than all the other card pushers. However, I do know that there is a version like this one that Konami is working on.

That's cool to know, and Round 1 is kinda working on bringing the Japanese arcade experience to the west, so there is that at least, still, all the pusher machines there are something else.

I understand that this still qualifies as gambling? Anyway, what qualifies as a huge jackpot, or what are the possible payout factors? I know quite a lot about gambling machines and game mechanics (don't play them myself, but just know this stuff from the mathematical perspective - like how bet amounts and payouts are related to each other), so I would like to get some kind of perspective regarding this type of game. Anyway, I am rather impressed by this kind of machine.

Honestly the medal games here all depend on gravity and an insane amount of randomness. There is a slot involved but that doesn’t weigh in that much, unless you hit 777 or you are in parade mode. The jackpot chance is triggered by 3 of the “big marbles” falling and then starting the feature. When in the marble chance feature getting at least 6 of the feature marbles in the jackpot chance section of the wheel. The more you get the more balls you get for the jackpot chance. 1 marble = 1 jackpot chance marble. So if I got 8 marbles in the chance mode I would have 8 jackpot chance marbles. Once the JPC (jackpot chance) is triggered, the marbles earned must pass through 3 waves of “mazes” successfully (ball landing in the correct hole).
Feel free to check out my pachinko videos because those are out of actual pachinko parlors (Japanese casinos) which are more of gambling devices than medal games and since medal games are only in arcades, there is no legal way to turn them In to cash.

What do you do with the marbles.

The marbles are turned into coins which are dispensed at the bottom. 1 marble = 1 coin

yeah thats the crappy part! the gobble holes on the sides of the pusher pay a big part in it. I take it you play these games? (im guessing because you referenced the word odds)

What part of Canada? Do any round 1 arcades exist there? I know they exist in the states.
