I wanted to clarify a few things. There are denominations in pachinko, where depending on the section you play, it can be cheap or expensive to play. This was a 4 yen machine, if you don’t want to spend much, I highly advise playing 1 yen. at 0:45 I explained about the odds being from 1/77-1/319, this is just the usual of what you will see in a parlor. Some machines have lower odds, such as 1/10, however, the payouts are either extremely low and few in between, or the start hole is hard to hit. An example would be the umaibo machine.
Great video, with whats going on in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, there is a character who has a pachinko based ability so its nice to understand what Pachinko is and how to play it ;D
Great video like always, this is a much better tutorial than the other videos. Would it be always recommended for beginner to play easy odd machines like 1/99.9 instead of higher odds ones? I guess how would you pick between low odds ones vs. high odds ones?
I personally say I would start off on easier machines. Specifically machines with yu-time. There is a few 1/77 games out there which are fun too. One machine I recommend for beginners is the 1/77 symphogear 2 because it’s 1/77 AND yutime starts at 230 spins and has a pretty good rush. Higher odd machines like 1/199 and 1/319 have much better payouts, but you could put like 20,000 yen or even more to hit them! Playing a machine with a yutime so you are pretty much guaranteed to hit is my advice to new players.
Thanks for the video! Im learning japanese so to practice my listening ive been watching alot of japanese streamers. Which just happens to include pachinko players. Had no clue what was going on for a while. Just that every now and then chat would go ナイス or すごいい lol! Btw what are these characters from?
@@TheRedOGRE that’s awesome. Yours is probably 10x better than mine. I understand more than I can read. Foreign slot maniac (check his channel out) is so much better than me. To be honest I have no clue where these characters are from because I’ve never seen the anime lol.
@@medalgameguru1367 nah I'm not fluent at all! I've only been self learning for about a month. But I've watched Japanese media for a long time so I knew alot of vocabulary before I started. I wish i would have seen this video last year. i hit the Bonus 777 and didn't realize you need to turn it right and hold it in the full position until a guy walking by saw and told me, I filled up 2 trays after that but wasted half the bonus because i did know. 🤣 2 full trays was 10,000 yen😊

I started searching tutorial because I speak only a little bit of Japanese and between that and the deafening noise of Pachinko establishement, I wasn't able to understand how to play it when one of the employees tried to teach me how to play Pachinko ! I even ended up with the machine SCREAMING at me because I was only aiming to the right side of the machine since there was a huge "burst" thingy and I thought it was better than the left side :') And when I say screaming, I'm really talking about the machine stoping the game and blasting at full volume to the point of covering the other noise in the Pachinko room and refusing to stop until it finished it's 2 minutes of hellish blasting alarm noise and "Don't aim at the right side" (in Japanese) XD Thanks for your video.
I also had trouble with my first Pachinko game recently (August 9th) where I was turning it too far too the right. Lol Question: After jackpot, if you choose to continue to play do your earnings go away or will they remain there until you run out of balls? I'm confused as to when is the "right time" to cash out.
@@lamarrnunez6099 so if you are in a rush you want to keep playing until your rush is finished. You will lose balls but very slowly. You may only lose 50 before your next bonus because you have an easy to hit start hole. You will know to stop when it tells you turn the handle back to the left. Keep in mind though, not every game is played shooting right, sea story games often have symmetrical sides and balls that shoot right will funnel to the middle. Where do you play at?
Pretty much. Funny thing is, pachinko is so heavily regulated by the government but it may not last much longer unfortunately. I mean, Osaka will open a casino within the next few years, so I guess gambling isn’t so illegal anymore.

Tried several pachinko slots in Japan. The chance of winning is high. 1/319 machine is surely difficult to hit a bonus.
That’s exactly why I mainly play 99s and 199s and or machines with yutime
