- A beautiful way to spend a morning… with the elephants in their wilderness homestead and Khanyisa as she starts her day beside Limpopo and the other elephants and with milk bottles provided by her dear carers, Reply and Stavros! She gets a sneaky marula too and of course her extra supplement of snacks for the day ahead: sweet potatoes, apples and pellets. All for a growing baby elephant of over 840 kilograms!
What a gorgeous atmosphere with this stunning sunrise and the wilderness ahead. The light in the mornings and evenings are simply marvelous. Khanyisa has grown in such a self content young girl, she makes me smile. With all this beauty in nature, all these stunning animals around, one becomes very awestruck and humble. Thank you for letting us be part of it again and again.
Khanyisa is so loved❤. The HERD carers are so loved ❤. Adine is admired, appreciated by all.
Thank you HERD for teaching the world about elephants and conservation.
I love how she casually crosses her back legs! So calm and relaxed as she stuffs the food in her mouth with that amazing trunk!
Good to the last drop 🍼🍼🍼😋What a good girl 🐘👍💕!Never did milk 🥛 look sooo good😋…….such dedication, care&Love will be the reason these magnificent animals will thrive & go on………never ceases to amaze me………Thank you Herd Rescue ,Adine&all the dedicated caregivers that make this happen……the world needs to take a lesson from you all!!Nanny Stick Sister-USA ❤️🤍💙💞🫶🏻!
This is just a whole other world away, from where I live. Would love to travel here one day. It's like heaven!
One day!
Beautiful sunrise and drive into the homestead 😍
So awesome to wake up to the freshness of the morning and seeing and greeting the HERD. 💕Such a pleasure 😊💞
Our "little," Khanyisa taking her bottles and eating her snacks is always enjoyable to watch 🥰 she's so precious. And has gained healthy weight, I see. God bless all of the elephants and Adine, Stavros and Reply and the rest of the carer's too. Much love and admiration from Iowa, USA💞💕🇺🇲🌹
🥰🥰🥰
Sunrise creates beautiful colors 🧡. There are a lot of antelopes, they are beauty. Khanyisa is grown a lot! Look like his legs have grown quite long 🤗. She has a good appetite ☺👍🐘. Limpopo is beautiful ellie❤. Thank you Adine, Stavros, and other cares ❤🧡❤.
From so far away from these wonders, I thank you ever so for your sharing their goodness with us 🙇🏼♀️👑✨
That is absolutely Heaven right there! I'd give everything I have just to be able to be there and help these magnificent, beautiful creatures! Bless you all for everything y'all do! ❤️🐘❤️
Edited to LOL @8:23🤣
Wow, thank you for sharing this beautiful morning sunrise. I had never seen the grounds so completely. Limpopo purring is so sweet to hear as well...and Pinky tucking under. Did she just skip a puddle? The beauty of the Herd is the best...I love them! Hey Stavros and Reply. Have a great week all!
What a gorgeous sunrise, and the impala added a wonderful touch. Stunning landscape,
so green and lush right now.
But...nothing is more beautiful than the sight of our baby K and her elephant family.
Laughed out loud when she kept stepping over the puddles. Perhaps she just had a pedicure. 😉
Never, ever gets old watching her drink her bottles with her back.legs crossed.
Thank you for taking us on your morning routine.
❤️🐘❤️🐘❤️🐘❤️🐘
Love it! LOL! My sentiments exactly 🥰💗😄
I think HERD is offering a calm refuge for a lot of us. Thank you Adine and all the carers for providing the elephants and watchers peace in their lives. I am awed by the beauty of the refuge and appreciating more and more what a gift we have been given to share life on our earth with other creatures. Now if only we humans could stop fighting. Bless you all.
Well said🦋
Well said Sue, pure mindfulness

What‘a a breathtaking sunrise!!!❤
Oh, my....the most beautiful morning with our favorite humans and elephants. Thank you for sharing this blissful scene. So fun being there as the day begins.
South Africa’s beautiful colors are so bright & vivid, but it isn’t until you get to the homestead that you see a certain color that I never knew I would grow to love. Grey, & the Elephants wear this color in all their glory! Throw in a little pink & you have one cute little Elephant that is growing up right before our eyes. Can not imagine a world without color. ❤
She has healed to beautifully. You all worked so hard for this result ,including our dear Khanyisa.♥️She is a joy to behold.
I have watched Kyhanisa since the day she was rescued. I am so happy to see how she is thriving. My prayer is that I would love to come to South Africa t visit the Herd in person. Adine you are such a wonderful person! Along with the commitment of all the carriers have given your herd a wonderful home. Ever since Kyhanisa’s rescue I have learned so much about how wonderful elephants are. Kyhanisa… I love her so much and the bond she has with you. With all that is currently happening here in the US is very discouraging for me because at 74 I don’t know if there is enough time left for me to get my prayer answered to see all these Ellie’s in person. I watch them everyday. They give me such peace. My husband has dementia and I am his caregiver. We’ve been married over 32 years. So when I watch when the herd goes out in the bush I take in the scenery and the solitude & peace they experience. I want to be there to feel the ultimate .humbling to be in there presence. What therapy I am experiencing because of Kyhanisa being rescued. Unfortunately I cannot afford to contribute to herd at this point in time, but my prayers and Love are with the entire family each and every day. I hope I live long enough to see Kyhanisa have a baby of her own. I know that is a ways off but I wish her all the happiness our Pink princess can have. What an experience all this has been for me.
That was such a cute hug Meisiekind gave to Limpopo! And Kumbura and Tokwe in the background didn't miss a thing. Limpopo is quite the character and she is just like her mom, Tokwe! Adine, the ride to the Homestead was great. How beautiful everything looks--so lush and so green. And what a great tribute those wooden plaques are to those who helped build the HERD. Thanks much!
Very sweet indeed!
Good morning Adine, Starvos and Reply. Good morning to my favorite elephant family 🐘. Khaynisa 🐘 yummy for you getting a marula you are such a special little girl. Such a beautiful sunrise. I hope you all have a great day in the bush Jabulani HERD ❤️🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘❤️
What a beautiful morning at Herd and Khanyisa makes it so much brighter...🤩❤
😊 GOOD MORNING!!! 😊.....WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SUNRISE.....AND WHAT BEAUTIFUL SCENERY!!!!....I RELISH THE FEELING OF BEING THERE WITH YOU AND EXPERIENCING THE START OF YOUR DAY WITH KHANYISA AND LIMPOPO.....AND WATCHING THE REST OF THE HERD IN THE DISTANCE...THANK YOU!!!!!.....💕💕💕😎🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘
How awesomely beautiful a morning. Gives a sense of calm. I always look forward to see such beautiful faces.
Oh I just love them as much as gorillas luv luv them all my heart burst with a warm loving feeling every morning
7:09 Limpopo looks a little puffy under her eyes this beautiful morning. I never before noticed the circles around her eyes. (Maybe a little or a big rascal kept her awake all night?) Still, she's so lovely and sweet, especially to Khanyisa. Standing under her neck like that looked like the two had a nice hug. 💖
Beautiful and peaceful as always! Thank you for sharing!
I always felt there is a place… on Earth, now I have seen Heaven On Earth!❤Thank you for the Share.🙏
Thank you for sharing the drive in and entrance, so beautiful to see the Herd grounds in that way. Of course, everyone and all the ellies, animals, and landscape are ever amazing.
Blessings to all!
✌️
🤗🤗
Thanks for the walk about - certainly provides perspective of the Homestead. Khanyisa must know she is special, the Herd has fully accepted her. Happy Days ahead.
It seems like a fairytale to be so grounded to the earth with such magnificence surrounding you! The sunrise on the water...animals running free..and Gods creatures enjoying a new day living in harmony with each other. Limpopo is pure love! She alone could easily step into Tokwe's shoes with ease...and be accepted by all! The harmony and love she brings to her herd is beyond stellar! Stavros and Reply are simply the best...their love of nature and elephants always showing in their smiles. The homestead is one step away from heaven! May the Creator continue to bless this special place and all its inhabitants....
Khanyisa is 6 3/4 times bigger than when she first arrived! So if you wanted to balance Khanyisa on a Teeter Totter (Seesaw) you would need almost 7 of the little Khanyisas from the her first arrival. The image makes me laugh! 😅 She is such a big girl now. 🐘💚
What a beautiful overview of the homestead many parts I have never seen before. Truly a beautiful sunrise. Thank you for sharing.
I love that Khanyisa loves mud baths but still hates walking through mud puddles!
It is very unique and cute! its HER thing, you know?😍😍😍
@@herdelephantorphanage She is a very unique girl that's for sure!
What a stunning sunrise!
Reply and Stavros are amazing care givers to our Elephant family, its such a pleasure to be invited in, I absolutely love our family and the energy our Khanysia brings and i love watching hr drink her milk such a happy content young lady, what a beautiful peaceful sanctuary, much love 💙
She is one beautiful little elephant I have been seeing this little elephant the day she arrived it gives me joy every time I see her and these beautiful elephants together😊🐘🐘🐘🐘🐑🐑🐕🐕
I'm still waiting for Tamisa, Pisa or Mambo, to steal a milk bottle! For sure, my brother and sister would've done it just to bother me!
I watch these videos many times at the end of my day…
Seeing the sunrise as you drove in…was magnificent! I
love how much you all love and care for these beautiful
creatures. I wish all of you great health and …well…it
appears you have such happiness! Mary from the 🇺🇸’s!
Limpopo & Khanyisa greeting Adine is so sweet 🥰🙏❤️🐘
Adine you filmed so many beautiful sites this morning. From the drive in seeing the beautiful sunrise with the impalas (it looked like something out of Narnia). Then seeing our little puddle jumper still cracks me up with Khanyisa and the puddles to her drinking her milk. She is still the little pink princess that brightens my day. I am amazed on the weight she gained. We use lbs here in the states and i was gonna guess 840 kg was maybe 1000 lbs; its 1,840 lbs is unbelievable. Thank you all for the love and care you have given her. You are all angels 😇!!!!
I am so impressed at how well kept and beautiful the Herd homestead grounds are. This is so inspiring to see. It must take hours of meticulous work and dedication to make every thing so beautiful. It is understandable that the Herd elephants would thrive well in this environment.
The light of Sunrise is always special. I really love it.
It's soooo chillaxed and peaceful at HERD.
Absolutely stunning seeing Khanyisa, Limpopo, Pisa, Timisa, Towke, Jubalani and Co in the beautiful sunrise and of course Nandi too 🥰.
A huge thank you Adine, Reply and Stavros as always 🥰🐘🥰🐘🥰🐘🥰🐘🥰🐘🥰xx
😍🤩
How beautiful the sun reflects off the elephants ...and how prominent little ones tusks are now
THANK YOU ADINE & THE AWESOME CAREGIVERS AT HERD! LOVE ALL OF YOU! GOD BLESS!🐘🐘🐘🐘🐾🦓🦒🐑
So beautiful seeing the Orphanage and homestead and everyone bathed in that glorious light. God is so good all the time, the place looks so good and what you've done for the elephants is such a blessing to All, God bless HERD and All of you, loads praying for continuing provision for HERD and jabulani HERD in Jesus Christ name Amen 🙏 ❤️ limpopo loves you Adine, she's so friendly and happy to see you.
A rainy Sunday evening in the U.K. so just lovely to look at all the beautiful scenery, animals and our dear ellies 🥰 What a lovely walk around the orphanage too. Loved the way Khanyisa hopped over the puddles; she always hated walking through the wet grass first thing in the morning 😅 Just time to sneak one more video in before switching off all devices an hour before bedtime; I could happily stay up all night watching them 😅 ❤️🐘❤️
That's so funny to see Khaniysa avoid stepping in the mud! 😂 Usually any child would be happy to go mucking through it but actually looked like she was following the carers footsteps trying to avoid the mud! Smart cookie she is!! 💞
It's so good to see Khanyisa so healthy and happy. You all at the Reserve have done an excellent job helping her to develop in the beautiful little elephant that she is now.
A Brilliant sunrise 😃 The Herd Is So Loved By These Most Amazing Caretakers and others that watch to show love for them😍🐘🐘😍 😃 sending prayers everyone have a bless week and stay safe😃God Bless You all 🐘🐘🐘🐘😃not playing around with bottle😃😍😍🐘🐘
WOW beautiful sunrise! The colors! Beautiful Limpopo and Khanyisa! Indeed a great morning. Thank you Adine, Stravos and Reply.
Heaven on earth!!! How beautiful!
We don't know what heaven would look like, but if there's a heaven on earth, it's this place.
What a gorgeous start to the day, sunrise on the impalas, a tour into the reserve and seeing those sweet curious trunks as they greet you Adine! Thank you, carers ALL🥰🧡🐘🐘🧡
Oh my, the BEAUTY just takes my breath away!!
A very special place indeed
She is gorgeous!
Thank you for sharing such an exquisitely beautiful morning landscape. It’s really breathtaking…❤ South Africa has absolutely beautiful landscapes!!
Thank you for taking us on this beautiful tour of he HERD homestead Adine!
11:43 Interesting how Khanyisa wanted to avoid stepping in the mud.
She didn't want to mess up her pedicure. 🤣🤣
Lol. I thought the same thing! Prissy! ❤
Very "her" like
What a beautiful country! Wonderful to see the drive-in, past the dam in the early morning light; the beautiful impala golden in the sunlight... All the lush greenery and finally the elephants greeting you before they trek out to forage...
Awesome drive alongside the reserve in this beautiful day. Seeing the beautiful herd is 💖💖💖🐘
This video gave me a new understanding of the size of the reserve.
Limpopo is so pretty with her gently curving even tusks!
Another beautiful morning with the elephants. Great video showing the landscape and some unique perspectives on their trunks.
840kg's of pinkness tiptoeing over the puddles and skirting the mud lol. You make me giggle, Khanyisa. HERD has done so well with this little girl. Congratulations and God bless.
Thank you so much for the support and love!
Thanks!
Thank you!!!!💕💕💕💕💕💕
Beautiful morning and nature. Sweet elephants. The pretty pink baby princess is looking good this morning.❤🐘
Glorious morning! Wow!
Limpopo's beautiful smile seems real - even with dimples. Nice to feel the early rhythms of HERD, where some of our favorite beings are. Thanks, Adine & to the awesome carers for everything you do to protect Earth & the elephants. With affection & admiration. ♡♡♡♡♡
PS LOL was curious about what Khanyisa was doing with her back leg to have Adine tell her no a few times. :-) Baby girl right on time for her toddler stage I guess.
It is so gorgeous!!!
You have such beautiful and calming videos to watch. HERD is the first i look at every day. Thank you so much,Love you all
The trees in the orphanage are lookin good since the princess left to go to the homestead! Now they can grow! 😆
How is Nangu? Is Mambo and Lundi in the same stall again?
The beauty, the sweeping land and sky , the openness of Africa is amazing and breathtaking. Adine your heart must swell each time you drive up to your beloved reserve. It is incredible to me that you own this reserve. How you must love it.
Nungu is so LOVED! 🥰
Thanks Adine for the ride and the magnificient sunrise Limpopo always aware of her environment comes to say hello together with little Miss Sunshine who greets her human mam Adine Timisa is a little bit shy and doesn't dare to join the company but it does not spoilt the appetit of Khanyisa still so spoiled by Stavros and Reply
Fantastic video! Thank you for sharing! Loved your drive into the homestead.
It is so beautiful there. 🥰 Happy to see everyone.
I love that little soft rumble- is Khanyisa doing the cute little noise? SO ADORABLE!
As a gardener myself, would be so thrilled if you folks some day did a farming operations video, talking to farmers, taking a look in the greenhouse - would be awesome!
I do not have words that credit the land and the occupants with how deeply moving our earth, our planet is and how grateful I am to Adine, and Tigere, and Stavros, and Reply, and the other carers for being caretakers on our behalf.
👏🏼👏🏼🎉
Very well said @Anne Terry.👏🏻👏🏻🫶🏻❤️🙏🐘
Khanyisa was smelling her milk! What a gorgeous morning!
May God bless your beautiful place and animals and you! May God bless all creatures. 🙏🏻🌻💗🙏🏽💕🌺
Khanyisa so loves her bottles! But I notice that either she has finally learned no one will take them away until she is done, which I think she has known since her early days before she could even hold her own bottle, or she is getting old enough that she is eating enough during the night and early morning that she is not desperately hungry each morning as a baby would be still depending on milk as a primary food source. While she still needs her milk, she is seeming to slow down a bit and savor it more then even a couple weeks ago when she was still suckling as if it was never going to come fast enough. Are we starting to see early signs that milk may no longer be as important as good foraging, the techniques of which her family members are teaching her well, and that weaning is perhaps somewherein the future? As sweet a little elephant as she is, she really not only loves her bottles but the attention that goes with them from careers and human family, and it will be interesting to see her behavior when some bottles start to not be served or less then the amount she is used to is presented as weaning does start. I wonder if we will see some temper tantrums
Remember a ranger saying best pics sunrise & sunset
That beautiful orange glow.that was so good Adine. Thank-you carers💓💗💖❣️❤
Fenya’s tree looks beautiful in the morning sunlight.

@ 5:02 Limpopo feeds Khanyisa!!
I’ve taken screen shots of a couple of the gorgeous scenes from South Africa and printed and framed them. They are a joy to look at.
I want to know - does Khanyisa ever burp after sucking down 3 bottles so quickly? She doesn't waste any time!😂
Thank you for showing us your arrival at the homestead as loved the ride with you. It is so beautifully set up and the carers do a marvellous job keeping it that way.
Look how tall Khanyisa is now!
Those little tusks are really coming
