Mcneely is def so underrated and is 10 times better than Dort! If he had been starting or even just 4-5 more mins off the bench his numbers would be equal to or better than Barnes! I don’t mind him off the bench as he will be automatic 6 man of the year and gives them an instant offense guy but instead of 28 for Dort and 20 for McNeely I would split there mins 24-24 I would honestly give mcneely the 28 mins. Love this team and was impressed by roux. I really don’t see any necessary moves to make the one and only thing that I think this team would benefit from is an insrant offense guy off the bench. Gafford essengue naw Dort lonzo are good to great defenders but none of them are real true scorers who can take over and be the 1 option on the second unit. As ball gets older I wouldn’t mind seeing u bring in a guy like quickly or McBride who are capable of running the 1 but are more like a 2 and both are pretty good defenders as well especially deuce.just some ideas or stuck with ball and maybe get a wing player 6ft 7 range who can play 2,3, or 4 off the bench who is a great scorer. He doesn’t even need to be a good defender as the rest of ur second unit is lock down guys. Lovin this Steve
I agree with all this!! Love the idea of IQ or Deuce off the bench with Lonzo getting up there in age! He’s just been so consistent for us lately but Liam is truly a goon! One of my favorite players on this team he literally does everything! Thank you for the amazing feedback and all the support and immersion you add to this series! I could make the case for a Mcneely sabonis trade.. That's what you missing is length.. Scottie is a tweener, not really a body to bang.. Dort is really the replacement for McNeely to make that trade.. Now you have a legit 4 and 5 combo between scottie, sabonis, and Mark.. I feel like Mcneely slows the pace down too much.. Great shooter, no doubt, but his contributions can be replaced by AJ and dillion.. Sabonis gives you more than just length, too.. That trade straight up aint bad at all. Maybe have Sac throw in a 2nd rounder
Bro all these points are super valid! Not to mention Sabonis gives us better spacing if he’s at the 5 with Dylan, AJ, Dort and Scottie filling out the remaining lineup.
