I really hope they either print a couple cards to help out grass decks in general or they make a Tera Venusaur ex and they make it just as busted as Charizard. Venusaur really needs to be shown some love.

They need to make a stadium card called Candy Shop that lets you find one rare candy per turn lol. If it had a special illustration, it could have Munchlax sneakily stealing candy in the background
If you played 2 big balloons, you do double heals with your venasaur by retreating to a new active.
Kind of surprised you didn't run any jet energy. It's fantastic for moving pokemon around in this deck. Just a few examples, Gardenia two energies and jet to the active for an attack, jet energy for two or more Venusaur abilities in a turn, or using Liligrant Vstars extra effect on their attack to send jet energy back to hand for next turn.
The ending to that first game and your reaction was perfect 😂
I think the only thing they had to do to make Venusaur ex good was to make its attack do 170 instead of 150 damage.

@@numnut154 170 with poison would allow you to 1-shot a Mew ex without having to have Radiant Hisuian Sneasler.
350 or 360 hp i think making venusaur the biggest hp monster would be what separates him not the dmg

I was running Vensaue ex with Arceus V star as well as the new Vileplum. big Air balloons work on the vileplum, and you set up either Arceus or Venusaur ex on turn 2.
I also run a vitality band, which guarantees the OHKO on charizard ex.
Its really interesting to see grass decks shine now, id love to see some serperior or meowscarada options or other potential options, maybe even one prizers
How about Venusaur ex with “Strange Behavior” Slowbro (and Emergency Jelly) and Radiant Tsareena? 🤣 Can even heal 300 HP per turn.

can you make a venusaur stall deck? with no energy and just use the ability with oricorio and tsareena to heal + supporter disruption.
There's been some experimentation with it (check out SaberWolf94's videos).
But to be honest, it feels like when you're winning, it is because the other 50 cards in the deck are carrying Venusaur. And when you're losing, it is because the Venusaur cards bricked your hand. Venusaur has no ability to lock the opponent down if he doesn't have the energy to Confuse them, just tank hits. Eventually the opponent WILL draw their Raichu V, or Entei V, or Chien Pao EX, or Gardevoir EX and be able to start 1HKOing your Venusaurs, and gaining 2 prizes each.
It CAN work, but it lacks the consistency and control of other Stall decks.

I played this deck yestarday in TCG live, but found a lot of trouble with miraidon decks, because they build up really fast. Do you have any advice against them?

Cuz if you cant see a rare candy, you can still hard evolve into the stage 2
I would like to see try a Jinx and Venusaur from Pokemon go deck. I think it has some great synergy but my deck building skills are not great.

I was sad to see Charizard have a ridiculous ability along with tera bench shield ,ton of HP and etc. Being an easy beginner card and for free on tcg live while Venasaur ... does not have those things lol
Yeah venusaur got shafted hard
at 40:30 you retreat into Venusaur and heal once, you had at chance to retreat into Venusaur with the balloon and heal twice, in the end it didn't matter, but just to keep you sharp

Venasaur with perilous jungle can deal more poison damage.
Can't you technically just play Cherrim to accelerate to the Bulbasaur instead of relying on gardenia so much and sacrificing your draw power? Also, Sneasler guarantees a one hit ko on Charizard. I feel like that's more valuable than the tsareena in most cases. Maybe I'm wrong though.
Cherrim can't attach to rulebox pokemon, which makes it clunky
@@icephoenix174 i know but still, attaching to the Bulbasaur's before they evolve isn't the worst idea. It's clunky sure, but so is Gardenia. I have to test it honestly

LDF I run Mew Vmax that you don't like and as of late it hasn't been holding up but it is the only deck I know. could you recommend another deck to try that will keep the game fun and still be able to compete in ranks and that is not to hard to learn?

In what world does 270 knock out a pokemon with 320 hp left? YOU CAN HEAL TWICE!!!! Once with each Venasuar. You needed to abused that balloon way more. You missed so many chances to heal.

What is stall?
This deck is now kind of bad because new charizard ex list have entei to counter it and also has to 2 shots v pokemon which gets it countered by Raichu v deck. The only deck I see this is good deck is against lost zone and charizard ex because you can out heal Lost box damage like cramorant does 110 however 2 Veneausars ability it does nothing. However, overall it is just a really mid deck.
