And the point of testing a Plug in Hybrid, without charging it up, is?

At last! Thank you for another great review guys I was waiting on this for some time as I remember Anthony mentioning it when I said I was interested. I think the diesel is my favourite out if the 2 of them, I like the blue colour, because it has no extra batteries it sits lower and therefore looks and handles better plus I'd say it'd be quicker off the line. Diesel is still king for me!

He says in the video that the battery is dead....how can you give the car a proper review if the friggin battery has no charge ffs !!

Disgraceful prices. When will the EU force our ripoff Government to get back to normal tax on vehicles. Germans would never stand for this shocking VRT.
I have a 2020 silver Octavia Sol. Bought it end of February last year and was hopping mad i couldn't wait for the new design which came out in September I think . Love this one but can't believe it's so good on torque 129 i think. My last one was 90 bhp and also brill. Leaves every Volvo BMW Merc etc., sitting in the inner lane at Ferrycarrig. So nifty.

    Great vid.
Although, I think the answer is, the 2.0 petrol. With cloth...and the manual.

VW manual's are bland, they are not as engaging and good as a manual Mazda for example, DSG is the choice with a VAG car.

The diesel one will be seen in construction site car parks for years to come.

That silver but with TDI engine would be my choice.

I think the silver looks better than the blue, especially with the black accents and grey wheels

In the UK the VRS Diesel is only available with DSG. No manual. Only choice is the diesel is fwd or awd, both DSG.

Did she not know that the iV has an electric boot lid and that she was fighting against it's motor when she was trying to force down the boot?

As mentioned by others why did she use up all the charge before the review! Performance of combined electric and petrol is very quick something he wasn't going to know. He's basically reviewing a basic petrol only car!

Great review it’s just a shame they didn’t go for a recharging hybrid or maybe a full electric 😎

I would get the diesel as I think the plug in hybrids are useless.

The boot is the same size though!! It's just the under the ajustable boot floor, the dimensions are all the same!! I hate the way boots are mesaured!

All plugins are a waste of time. To make them work you have to keep plugging them in so you may as well gone full EV. You basically have a gallon of electricity in terms of energy so if you do lots of longer trips (normal non school run driving) then the hybrid make much less sense and a 60mpg diesel

    • @Birmingham_racing
      @Birmingham_racing 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

If you don't do long drives you can charge it over night and drive for free everyday. If you run out of battery you have a petrol engine

Barely bought fuel since we bought one. But yes whatever you say know-it-all
