Mercedes X164 GL450CDI Acivate folding mirrors using Xentry

I just purchased this car, and the folding mirrors didn't work. I opened the door panel and found a lousy repair of the flat ribbon cable from the windows/mirror switch. I repaired that and assumed that now everything was ok, but no, it was't!
I connected a 9V battery to the terminals for the folding motor (pin6-7 Yellow and white cable) and got confirmed that the motor works.
By inspection of the door module, I found that this was 5 years older than the car, and with some Norwegian text on the casing...
Maybe it wasn't adapted correctly?
I found on a forum that it may be an activation issue.
So I did this, and it worked.
