    Love your little shudder! Once you have held the drilling line on a cable tool rig you are hooked for life! Better get a jet of jars for it cause sooner or later you will need them. Believe me there were a few times when I wish I would have had them on !! But always got back out.

    Nice rig and a great explanation of how cable rigs work. Are you supplying plans to developing countries or will Rotary have more input for building/assemblying these rigs overseas?

      @@claudioromero2043 I did not, but another few decades I'm certain they'll get around to it. I just don't know if it's wise to keep waiting for them, I'm awful thirsty after 9 years in my vigil to hear back.

    i appreciate the initiative but this is not the easiest rig to put together in a developing country. afew concerns:: why not not go rotary and simplify the design remember labour is cheap and available in developing countries the advantage of a single worker at the expense of the compexity. the ways its setup if something malfunctions you will have an army of workers who have no clue how to fix it. there r much simpler rotary well drilling rigs. just sayn..................................
