Please note that the lyrics of the song starting with "Andhakaarathal ellam kannum mangumpol" were penned by Evangelist Pandalam Mathaichan (my grandfather), also known as the 'Thalathottappan' of the Pentecostal movement in Kerala, and not by K V Simon Sir. Evangelist Mathaichan authored the lyrics and handed them over to Simon Sir for printing (in those days, there was only one printing press in the entire state). Unfortunately, a mistake occurred when one of Simon Sir's assistants misattributed the authorship to him. Therefore, it's important to correct this misinformation to accurately acknowledge Evangelist Mathaichan for the song's lyrics.
