Tunic -Full Game Walkthrough (Gameplay) Golden Path Ending
This is my full game walkthrough/playthrough of Tunic that will help you get all of the items need to get the best game ending. If you have any questions or need help comment below and I will answer as many questions as I can.
This is a pretty heavily edited video, which makes it easier to view and follow along.

Wtf dude I started this game because it looks cute and sweet, but realised Tunic is the hardest and most complicated game of 2022.

Not hardest , just badly designed. The gameplay itself is simpler than any DS. Exploration on the other hand is completely broken. For example, the game tells you to hold down "A" to activate the gray pillars. but the game never hints that the yellow squares on the floor are fast travel points, which also need to be activated only by holding, not just by pressing like absolutely any other action in the game. Also on these squares were notes, from which the player gets the feeling that this is just a place where an item lies. At this point, I quit the game because this is stupidity and it is mistake in game design, and no difficulty in the like FS games. The combat system itself is primitive compared to any DS game.
@@kicel1252009991_Vankip I’m halway through the game (struggling with scavenger boss) and while i like the exploration i dislike the way they hide some secrets paths,doors you actually have to take and move the camera correctly to see them so you can progress the game. I run around thinking i’ve done everything in the area until i notice minutes later that i didn’t take a secret way to go to the next area…pretty annoying.
Also as you said the game tells you absolutely nothing and it’s hard to figure things out on your own. I have so many abilities and items i have still no idea what they do. Game is good, but could be better. Gonna finish it though, but i find myself coming to this video for advice more often than i should.

I came for just the mountain door, I couldn’t find it anywhere and honestly I was just being super lazy not solving myself, thanks for posting the finished map. Much appreciated.

dude your calmness add a whole nother zen to the gameplay, it's rad as hell !
The best way to kill the 3 crocodiles is to lead them back up that green ramp. This makes them straight line so easier to handle. You shield block their attacks while stabbing a few times and going back to shield.
I'll say it again and again.
This game is strictly BEAUTIFUL in many ways.
I'm so glad I just watched that ending. Those puzzles aren't one I enjoy solving at all and that ending is not worth this amount of efforts if I'm not enjoying the journey to get there.
I thought the game was amazing! But yeah, I also did not want to do all this work. So I'm happy to see this ending here.
What's the point of you two even playing this game if your not enjoying putting the time into beating it. Smh
@@Renigade16 indie games can feel useless to sink countless hours into 100 percenting for some people, especially when there’s not really any existence of a fun/ novel reward for your efforts to feel rewarded by. If we didn’t have the internet then I would totally 100% the game on my own and enjoy it that way. But for me and many other people the sense of satisfaction received from watching the cutscene which is earned through seeking out and solving 20 different fairy puzzles, some of which ask you to sit there for 10 minutes watching a rotating projection of the line you’re trying to follow which is also always 60% underwater is the same as doing the tumultuous things and seeing it on our own save file. Did I mention I just saved myself hours of my life by not caring to do flower puzzles?

I'm nearing the end of the game so didn't watch all the way to the end to avoid spoilers, but absolutely enjoyed watching you tackle the game! Great video! It's fun to see people approach it in different ways! You also cleared it much quicker than myself! 🤣🤣🤣👍

This game is dam hard but I had to put it on fail mode so I could enjoy this masterpiece another wise I wouldn’t of be able to do it it’s the hardest game ever but thankfully I could still enjoy the game I know it’s not the same but sadly I’m not a pro player I’m not bad at games but this one is definitely for great gamers out there but what amazing game I’m so so glad they put fail mode so some of us could still enjoy the game and be more relaxing in stead of being pure hardcore through and through well done to all the gamers that can do it on normal

I both immensely enjoy and despise this game for how it's constructed.
On the one hand, it trusts the gamer to figure things out by themselves.
On the other hand, I have no clue what to do most of the time.
Like with Hollow Knight, even though the goal is to explore the world. The problem is that most of the time the player has no idea where to go in order to progress and as a result is lost most of the time.
But at the same time, there's a certain beauty to it.
Exactly how I feel. It’s reward system is non existent
The Garden Knight is such bs!! I found a cheese method for it, and even that almost killed me. Do not enter the gate at 52:25. Instead throw a bomb in. The knight will wake up and grass will block the entry/exit from the fight arena. At this point, Knight is inside the arena and you are outside. Knight's gunfire won't hit you, but when he uses it as a melee weapon, it can still hit you and do substantial damage. So, try to stay away from the grass door and quickly hit him when he gets close to the door after his trio of melee attacks. You can get only 2 attacks in at a time. Takes a long time, but at least doable.
Some things to note when playing this game... Throw the coins in the well to unlock more Card Slots (relics) that you can equip. TNT are relatively cheap and should be used often on hard enemies. Kill all the enemies to gain lots of coin and use it to purchase upgrades to your stats as you find the pieces. I use the coin to have a good supply of health and magic refills (the red and blue fruit).
Didn't understand the "coins in well" part. I equipped the coin to my B slot, and when I was near a well, I pressed B. The coin got tossed in the well, and a light beam shot up from the well for a second. But I got nothing in return. What / when am I supposed to get something for this?

tip for beating boss scavenger: stand at the opposite side of where the boss is. eventually, he will run up to you, once he is standing infront of you, parry (or just spam the shield button) it was so easy to beat him with that technique
2:09:50 the “radiation” from the “power generators” also reduces MAX health, not just current HP.
You equip coins to throw them into the well. That's how you unlock relic slots.
I started this game that I do piece by piece! Personally I think it's great! It's a change from the games I usually play! In addition to being pretty, the music is too soothing on the other hand, it makes you not want to stop!

Tunic is very Original Zelda inspired Play the original Zelda and if you want a reall challenge use Zelda as your name it changes the location Of all the dungeons

Great walkthrough, thx! In the video, you say at 24 minutes that "at least they drop health" but I never ever have this happening! I'm on xbox one. I keep on dying before even reaching the boss in green with the key for the old house, very frustrating...
The health drop is based on a card you can equip.
This game starts off a nice game and slowly evolves into a weird grinding the map dark souls isometric puzzle game. The first half is great, the second half turns into OCD memorization and retracing.
I had wasted probably 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get down to the ladders at 2:21:31 Lmao thanks so much man

The first part of the game is fun, but all the puzzle solving really sucks for me. Glad you finished it anyway.

Oh man, I was really loving the game, until I came across the hell fairy puzzles, I really struggled to solve them by myself, I spent a lot of time there but a lot of it didn't make sense and I needed your video to solve... more than half of them... That frustrated me a lot, took the shine out of my eyes... I really think you need a high IQ to play this, it's an exaggeration for someone who just wants to have fun, the ending lost all sense and I really don't want to play this frustrating game anymore

I didn't realize if you go to bed, it fixes everything. I was wondering how everyone with the crown on was walking around in sunlight.
Fighting the scavanger boss can be significantly easier if you use the gear that instead healing provides mana potions.

I remember the VERY early demo of Tunic released in, god, like 2015/16-ish? Christ. To think this absolute masterpiece of a Zelda inspired game took an indie dev 6-7 years to complete....
And it was all worth it in the end

In the Accessibility Options you can turn your stamina bar off.
Now you can dodge with infinite stamina just like most Zelda games.
Tempting but too easy.

@22:46 those rocks next to the ladder you can go in-between them to find another secret that has some sort of vine in a chest there's also a way back upto the top which if alive enemies use to get to you also you missed 2 health pots and a time spell
Game feels like a cross between the style of link’s awakening and the difficulty and meandering of hollow knight

i was obsessed with this game up until the fairy puzzles. the game took a 180 and lost all the magic
the part where we have to regain all the upgrades are just boring and just so confusing im gonna be honest

3:28:21 at that door I sling thru it - probably a bug - and in the room inside I found 3 chests with stuff inside BUT when I wanted to get out, I was done, simply stuck inside and couldn't get out. I exit to titles and continued - it got me back in that room. I exited again and re-load the save - same thing. I exited the game completely and got back in - same thing. Game breaking bug and I DO NOT WANT to start the game all over again.
Is it just me or is the audio levels to low. Commercials blast me while commentary and game is super low.
Do you need a specific item or something to activate the pillars? When I stand in front of it and press A, nothing at all happens.

So I got the true ending with the completed book, which is cool and all (thank you so much for the help in this video btw), but now I can’t go and fight the boss normal without a whole new play through! Oops. Unless I’m missing something?
No, you're not missing anything. Unfortunately, there's no way for you to fight the boss on this save. It's a shame the game doesn't inform people that the B (good ending is permanent), while ending (good) A can be done multiple times. The fight with The Heir is a pretty big challenge, on par with Soulslike games.

Hey dude, great walkthrough! I'm on the part to decide the ending, but I've already started the fight with the Heir. Don't you know, Am I available to complete the game with the Golden Path ending if I have already started the boss fight?
I've collected all the pages, but everytime I come to the Heir, she starts to fight me...

so in my game where ur at 4:23:19 my world is still purple everywhere and as a result has a purple blob on the bottom left corner teleporter that u go thru. ive played this game as i have ur walkthrough up on my other monitor so any idea as to what may trigger the world going back to normal?

I thought this would be a cute and relaxing game, kind of like Link's awakening... turns out this game is unnecessarily hard and quite frustrating. Most of the time idk what I'm doing, where I'm going, and I keep dying. The checkpoints bring you so far back every time you die, l kind of hate this game ngl

What's the difference between wearing the scavenger mask and not wearing it, he's like "I'm gonna go back to my original save file where I'm not wearing the mask", what happens when you wear it vs. when you don't? Is the scavenger boss easier with the mask or what? 🤨🤨🤨

@@redfuzzyfred Glad I'm not the only one - arrrgh! I spoke to the developers on Twitter, it's a known bug and they're going to fix it on the next update. So gutted.
@@nathanwyer dang, yeah I figured something was wrong with it, I read somewhere that you can use the bed after beating it once to change it back to day (spoiler ahead) so I went ahead and got the bad ending and killed the heir without the hp, but then the bed didn't work lol, lots of waisted time fighting the heir.
