Housing is more expensive in Dallas ( DFW ) as well.
Economy in Dallas is primarily Management based, MBA'S Attorney and Corporate services.
Dallas is also a Very Major Player in IT lots of technology jobs and also Networking jobs ( Telecom) a lot of Pakistani are in the Telecom Field.
Houston economy is more Oil and Gas based. So any kind of education that has to do with instrumentation or programming of Controls or knowledge of upstream and downstream oil and gas exploration and distillery and anything to do with chemistry will be most meaningful.
