@@lujachin yea the customer I was doing it for his gas gauge wasn’t working, because of the floater so I told him to get a new one from mazda and I replaced it, what year make and model is yours
I don’t remember his coming back this week he wants me to installed an pressure relief valve on his car I could look, you don’t have to use Allen screws you can use any thing longs you can tighten and that will fit that size of hole to replace it, if you do this just take one with you and go to Home Depot

Do you think the gas tank would ever need to get cleaned inside?
No not really the only reason a tank need to be clean inside if the tank was sitting for years and there’s rust inside the tank or a lot of debris
