It's been a short while since I last built with a Thermaltake chassis. If there's one thing you can always count on, it's that Thermaltake always produce high quality products with performance in mind. There Ceres 500 is no exception, boasting airflow perforations covering more than 60% of the chassis and ample room for all of the latest generation graphics and cooling options.
The addition screen mounted to the base of the case is an optional extra, but I think this will be extremely welcomed by modders and enthusiasts alike. The implementation has been really well executed and setting up is as simple as plugging into the USB header, downloading the software from TT's website and away you go with customising!
Cooling has been excellent. Those three 140mm fans up front move A LOT of air, keeping all of the hardware cool whilst keeping dust at a minimum with the helps of mesh filters fitted all around.

Also featured in this build you will find the brand new GamingPro RTX #4070 Ti from Palit. Like the 3000 series, Palit have done an exceptional job of keeping this graphics card to a small size without sacrificing performance. Unfortunately, I didn't get chance to test the FPS for this video due to an issue with receiving NVIDIA drivers, but I'm sure I'll explore more of this later for you guys! The aesthetics of this card are just excellent though! It's clearly crying out to be vertical mounted with all of that RGB on the face. I love it.

the case come in at the right time. I spent more than a week comparing cases and when I conclude to choose one, this case was recommended on my page. Now I need to rethink 😢

I want to build a 4070ti build that can run 1440p Ultrawide on High graphic but i don't want to overpay for more CPU power i wouldn't use for it. I tend to keep and stretch my Pc for many years until i pretty much fully change. Thanks!

@@userbosco yeah well the choices are pretty limited. We all wished and thought we would get a real 4080 for 800$ instead we getting a 4070ti. Buying a 4080 at 1200$ usd is even a worst value for the price point. 7900xt et 7900xtx are in line with the 4070ti in term of performance to price and without Dlss3 from Nvidia they will get raped pretty bad. Nobody is happy but everyone that doesn't have a decent gpu will be forced to bend over and take the D. 😂

That CTE C700TG looks dope AF. Total steel on the 90 degree motherboard orientation that Silverstone established with their Fortress line years back but I think they really looked to have perfected it with the CTE line.

Thermaltake hasn't been on my radar since the oven of a TT mid tower case I had back in 2009... It was truly a horrible experience. But now this... The fact that you have me possibly seeing their products in a positive way for the first time in over a decade comes down to one thing, you are very good at what you do on this channel. I'm starting my own small business, aiming to make custom PCs for private customers (commission-style, one at a time) and your videos are a great inspiration to keep plugging away at it, Matt, no matter how many others out there are doing it! I found out last year I take great joy in building computers, and a couple of friends asked me why I didn't just start doing that as a side hustle and work on making it my full-time job. I discovered I really didn't have a good reason not to, so here I am!

I bought this case a couple weeks ago. I got the white one though. Awesome case. It was either The Fractal Design Torrent or the Ceres. I'm glad I made the right choice.

TT designs as of late have been exceptional. TT USA had this available for sale direct on their site and I just ordered it for a new build, can't wait. It's a nice evolution of the traditional case design. The new CTE cases at CES are exactly what has been missing in the market. I think they'll make the same impact that Lian Li has made with it's O11 line. Fantastic evolution of the original Silvertake Fortress line with 90 degree tilted motherboards and vertical GPUs with great airflow! BTW, I recently did a build in the Tower 100 and I have to say it's the easiest and cleanest ITX build I've done. They really did listen to customers and made the Tower 100 (v2) better.
just built in it a hour or so ago and its a great case i shoe horned a arctic freezer ii 420mm at the front ( only just fit but had to leave the bottom 2 screws out of the bottom fan )
did push pull across the top 2 fans to throw air over the 7900xtx red devil vertically mounted and it fills out the case a bit better with the extra 2 fans..
used 2 of the 4 included 140mm argb fans in the top for exhaust ( i may put a 3rd in the rear for more exhaust )
everything is really quite cool in there rog crosshair x670e gene with a 7600x 84c in cinebench R23
and the 7900xtx red devil at full load 4k gaming sits at junction temp of 86c to 88c !!
pretty sure you wont be disappointed with this case !!
@@volvot6rdesignawd702 Thanks for sharing! I have an MSI S360 AIO I'm going to top mount and I'm going to install the MSI 4090 in traditional fashion. The only thing I feel is missing, correct me if I'm wrong, is the ability to install a fan on the bottom? The Lian Li LANCOOL III has this ability and I can't help but think that would be super useful if I could remove the unneeded drive cage on the bottom and stick that included rear 140mm on the bottom instead.
@@ajr1775 yes you can remove the drive cage underneath.
i have purely for flow as the rad sat close to it ..
now you could install fans under there maybe 1 140mm , 2 140s maybe not just because of psu cabling ..
it may have some benefit but the mesh may restrict air flow wouldnt hurt to try !
being as ive vertically mounted my gpu i see little point to pushing air back up
and remember more fans basically more noise !!
