- Welcome to beepbeepmichael. today we are saying goodbye to a fateful friend. my 2008 Chevy Impala SS. its been a fun road but as you'll see in the video I have my reasons to get rid of the car in favour of something more practical for me. The impalas are great in the snow
if you dont want it thats ok (there are many things that can go wrong with these), but FWD in the snow is just fine, dont need a gas guzzling suv unless youre offroading. Especially with winter tires.
Edit: saw your vid saying youd keep them. My point still stands tho, people hate that the Impala isnt RWD, so its ability to take on snow is a pleasant benefit
Fair points. And thanks for being like the only person to say your points respectfully. My major issue with these in the snow is they are torque monsters which means inadvertent wheel spin at every acceleration
they are good in the snow.
that is why they gave them a V8 so you can play in the snow.
