This is a stock sleeper from the manufacturer. You have to like sleepers to like this. It also doesn't take much to make it better, which the sleeper community loves to upgrade. Power on demand is what first attracted me and I still have mine. You can act like a jack*** if you want or be a gentleman when the situation requires it. Can't do that in a sports car.
Honestly, I think you should keep this car for as long as possible. The V8 is always better than the weak underpowered V6s these things had in the other trim levels of this generation. Rumbling 5.3 Liter LS4 engines sound great with the right exhaust setup.
hey bro i have the 2008 chevy impala SS aswell, my transmission is terrible but what scares me more, lol, is it will start overheating when going uphill and i dont know what i need to do to fix it, got any suggestions bro?
@@jawneey try flushing and refilling the fluid. Aside from that I’d take it to a reputable transmission shop who may be able to diag and fix it for cheap. If not a new transmission may be needed in that case I’d go with an upgraded one that won’t blow again
It's got to be your transmission cooler or low fluid level, but more likely the cooler. Have you taken off the bumper cover to inspect the transmission cooler? Mine had several dirt dobber nests on it and a friend's had a plastic shopping bag in front of his. Could also be your radiator fans not working well or working intermittently.
Because it’s FWD and those transmissions were made of glass
@@TheAceKannon very very true
I’m glad everyone does lol it makes parts cheaper and you can find one with a blown trans for $1500
@@immunti2741 I found this one running and driving for 1600
They actually are great cars, but what makes them horrible is the transmission issues these things allegedly have.
@@CB12345 I very much agree

The Ford focus at are front wheel drive aren't they? Or the Ford focus svt from that era
@@mikelemke1666 yes. All focuses of that generations are front wheel drives
Why are you using a mocking tone and still own the car?
