I was fortunate to see Pontiak open for Sleep when they visited Winnipeg last year. It looked like they were having a lot of fun up on stage, nothing crazy but just solid stoner rock grooves and cool cameraderie. (TBH, I liked them more than Sleep, and I love Sleep.)
they're a great band indeed! i first saw them at supersonic in '09 and i was hooked! hopefully you've had a chance to check out some of their records, but if not, i recommend all from "sun on sun" thru to "echo ono" (incl. the split with arbouretum)!
