🌼She is made from eco-10 silicone with slacker and has armature in her arms as well as her legs that goes all the way into her feet for flexing ability.
🌼My particular Adalyn has a tongue 👅 but this sculpt doesn't originally have a tongue. Her artist Sandra did a fabulous job sculpting and adding one.
🌼She has an umbilical stump that resembles a real one in the process of healing, which is also added by her reborning artist.
🌼Tasha Edenholm did a fabulous job scultping the perfect newborn look! Complete with a sculpted Fontanelle (soft spot), ribs and poses perfectly into the newborn “scrunch”.

What is a reborn or silicone doll?
😊A reborn/silicone doll is a hand-made art doll created from a blank kit or a manufactured doll that has been completely transformed by an artist to resemble a human infant with as much realism as possible. The process of creating a reborn doll is referred to as reborning and the doll artists are referred to as reborn artists.
What is roleplay?
😊Role-playing takes place when a person using creative avenues acts out roles to explore a particular scenario.
What is the reborn community/hobby?
☺ The reborn community/ hobby is a group of individuals, that's mainly comprised of adults and some older teenagers, who enjoy life like baby dolls that look extremely hyper realistic. The reasons for collecting reborn dolls can be as diverse as the collectors! But, some reasons can be:
*just for fun
*the love of dolls
*friendship & fellowship
*therapeutic reasons
No matter the reason we collect, we all have one thing in common and that is to share in the joy and love of life-like baby dolls!
This is an adult lifestyle and doll collecting channel with a Christian flavor. I say that because I'm an ordinary imperfect Christian serving an extraordinary perfect God. I trip up. I totally understand the obsession about Addie. I was the same way about baby Grace. I had never had a realistic vinal doll before. It was like having a really baby. Target used to sell. 18 to 19 inch doll clothes. There were beautiful embroidered doll clothes. I loved dressing her and then the mix and match from the thrift stores. Little Grace is still my favorite still after twenty years.

Awwww good evening Sis, baby Adalyn looks so adorable in her new outfit and big bow today. I totally understand why you are obsessed with her ❤ I know exactly what you mean about the tunnel vision with your Adalyn. I was the very same with my Emma. I would even dream about her. And now, almost 4 years later, I look into that face and I ALWAYS smile and actually feel love for her 🥰❤️

Oh girl, I can soooooooo relate to this! I had this level of obsession when Monroe came home and 6 years later I am still obsessed with her to this day! I can't go really a full day without at least peeking in at her or having her in view while I'm working! Lol! I am better now about balancing my time with my other babies but it's taken me a long time to even want another new doll to bring home but I have and now I am able to enjoy them all which has been great! I have a lot of people always asking to buy Monroe even to the point of offering me ridiculous HUGE amounts of money for her and with each request, I just told them that I would be happy to add them to the list of interested buyers should I decide to sell her down the road. I still have that ever growing list that will be nice to have some day if I ever need to sell her! It is rude beyond all measure to the amount of random people who will ask, "how much" on posts and under videos. It's super annoying that they have no concept of manners or how to behave even if you were selling a doll. BTW~Adalyn looks super cute in her outfit! xxxooo's

She said people see how much we are enjoying that particular baby and think if they have it, they will get the same happiness we do. Oh I completely understand where you are coming from! I have one reborn baby right now that is my go to reborn. I am always holding him or changing his clothes and majority of the outfits I am buying are strictly for him lol! Of course I love all of my other reborns but he just has my heart❤️Adalyn looks so adorable in her outfit!💕
Thanks for sharing!! I totally agree, Kelly! It's so special to have that one baby that you just have that one-on-one connection with! There's nothing wrong with it, but we tend to think that our other babies are jealous when, in fact, it's just us feeling guilty. Their dolls, so they don't have any feels lol but I think because they look so real, we tend to feel guilty about not showing them as much attention as we do our favorite baby. Awww, love your choice of outfit for Adalyn! This is an interesting topic because I think there are so many degrees and it can be such a positive or a negative thing. I used to really struggle with obsessive thinking, not just about the dolls but lots of things, in an all-consuming way that was not good for me or anyone else. I have to be really mindful of it now, but still love that feeling of loving a baby so much! That comment was rude and kind of creepy! Not appropriate at all. I've thought about this a lot, and I think for some people, when they fixate so much on something someone else has, they really want the positive feelings that that other person has around that thing. Interesting food for thought.
You know, I think you're right sis! That person probably sees how happy I am with my sweet baby and they are thinking that if they had that particular baby that they would have the same feelings. But, I think it just all depends on my personal connection with her because someone else may not feel the same way. As a matter of fact, I've had lots of people come on here and say how much they dislike her and how ugly she is LOL. She has been the baby that I have gotten the most compliments on as well as the most insults on she has a very newborn look will a puffy face so a lot of people think that she looks beat up . I personally don't see it. She just looks like a cute little newborn to me and yes I can also see where Obsession can turn kind of bad but for me in this instance it's definitely more of an excitement and less of obsessive compulsive. i’ve never understood why some people are so adamant about buying someone else’s specific doll instead of just getting one made for themself 🤦🏽♀️ also the people who comment things like “omg i love your doll. will you give it to me? i really want one.” 😅 like.. ummm… no. why would anyone just GIVE you, a complete stranger, something that they worked hard to earn the money for??!? the lack of common sense is astounding 😂
I know it really doesn't make any sense. I'm always free about sharing where I get my babies from. I think maybe part of it may be that they want instant gratification. They don't want to have to wait for a custom so they just go around and see babies already done and see if people are willing to sell them. That's my best guess. Hugs to you! 💜💗💜💗
I enjoy seeing you interact with her -just like a real baby ❤ that she is for you, and makes you so happy 🎉 joy is contagious . It is quite strange to have a “stranger” comment adamantly they want your baby 😮. I “favor” 3 of my silicones and 3 vinyls --the rest I have as a “collectible “- which initially I thought I couldn’t part with until the “others came” 😂 (I hope it doesn’t sound mean) … the only thing that concerns me with my silicones is when “inquisitive” people touch their face -I’m always about did they wash their hands due to lotion or soap contact… my really close BFFs are very careful … I also would like to add, with these hyper-realistic babies -we even “tend” to buy the finest products and fabrics --that I didn’t or couldn’t 40 yrs ago (I didn’t have the money) … at 61 , I may “spoil” the babies …As it is, mini babies are expensive to buy regular outfits for … anyhow ty for the chat
I know exactly what you mean! I am so protective over my babies, but especially my silicones! I don't think people realize how delicate they can be. I once saw a 12 year old child poke her finger so far down into my friends silicone baby's forehead that it left a fingernail mark! Thankfully, it went away. But this occurred at a meet-up and so ever since then, whenever I'm at a meet up, I'm very mindful about what's going on with my babies because you just never know what someone is going to do. Parents who bring their children to these events should also consider if the child is old enough to appreciate the art of the dolls. Children will be quick to rub the hair all over their heads, not thinking that they are nodding up the hair. They just want to feel and touch to explore. Also, people think of dolls and children being synonymous when actually with the top of dolls we have that just isn't true. Thank you for commenting and I'm happy you enjoyed the video! Obsessed? Who’s obsessed? I only just bought two toddler dolls, so definitely not me… Adalyn says there’s no such thing as being too obsessed with dolls! She’s SO adorable! Geez! That lady sounds like a real dolly “Karen!” What if you’d have said, “ok, she’s $30,000,” since apparently money is no object to her. But Adalyn is priceless, so even that wouldn’t be enough. Although I can totally understand why she would want her-even if practically demanding someone else’s baby is beyond bizarre and entitled.
LOL it's a good obsessed though! More like we are just thoroughly enjoying our Hobby and our dolls. I don't know what she would have said if I would have said that but, one thing I've learned, people rarely want to offer you what you paid for the doll... much less more. Hugs to you! 💜💗💜💗

This hobby is definitely obsessive and addictive. I definitely think it is super rude when ppl ask how much your baby cost or if it is up for sale. I normally, if I fall in love with someone's baby I tell them if they ever want to sale their baby to please consider me bc I would live to adopt, just like I told you when I wanted Kayseri from you. Etiquette and manners are far, few, and in between in the doll community
Right, Sis, but it is a little different when you are close to someone, and you just let them know, hey, if you ever decide to sell, I am interested. But this person did not know me from Adam and was just expecting me to quote her a price and sell her my baby. LOL. You know how people in this hobby are, though! It never ceases to amaze me!
