During the Europe Tour in June, a lot of bands and musicians took photos along with BM, one of them were Slaughter To Prevail and they even hint a possible collab, the irony. I guess for some people, the juxtaposition on music just doesn't trigger the same way, and sometimes you just need to gain more and more musical knowledge to really appreciate groups such BM and what they do. 😂At least your boyfriend tried. Wait few years later to rewatch Babymetal. I liked screamo when I was in highschool, then I quitted listening to those, then I quitted buying albums. I don't like pop, and I thought rock and metal were dead because them all sounded same to me. What I want in music are, it has to be as heavy as possible but I don't want to be yelled at, it has to have beautiful melodies, it has to have unpredictable changes or my ears will be bored, it has to be complexed, detailed, and versatiled, not few simple riffs going through the whole song ...etc. Babymetal has checked all the boxes of me, and they became my only daily listener. I am not a Japanese, too old to remember all the lyrics. I see their singing as another instrument with melody that can lead me through an emotional and excitement journey.

He has no interesting thoughts on the matter. Admittedly, BM is so popular and, frankly, talented, it’s pretty tough to be critical of them. So he has a really tough job ahead of him criticizing something so objectively good. Nonetheless, his arguments are, as I wrote previously, “dopey”. Metal doesn't mean screaming, in fact most metal Bands don't have any Streamer, so when Ekectric Callboy learned they immediatly switched over and Kevin took Control of this part. For him it was important what can she really do? He is one of the biggest specialists in this area. And he asked for examples. A female growler in a band with someone like Su can be a real assett. But you have to know the Limits. And that he determined, yes, she is good enough, that we will use her in this song, was a very strong verdict and he was able to determine what to do with her and how to train her to improve and stabilize her ability. Butbthey have to be a bit careful. Su and Moa grew into their paygrade over a long time. While she will earn less than Su or Moa she grew from a position of a simple helper to one of the better payed female performer overnight that she probably doubted Su and Moas sanity. Due to the simple fact that she is now much more worth for the group.And it is for them important that she gets her fair share of the performance of the Band. But how few the screaming really helps is obvious if you look at thevrankings of the Bands. Nico and Kevin had real trouble when they met thevgirls for the first time. They were really asking themselves, how do you speak to a Goddess, for them, they were insignificant, compared to Babymetal. The fact that they visited their show alone, increased their market value. How big the difference between them really are was probably visible when they made the video. Electric Callboy is known for their general staff. They have some highly valued people in their crew, but in fact Babymetal is better and it is essential that Su and Koba have their own positions among their staff is a value in itself. And it helps if your mother company is a Talent agency. As Su herself declares "We are surrounded by Talent." Butvthis also means everybody normal will look in their structure like a sore thumb.
He is just not ready for BABYMETAL yet. I am sure the time will come when he will realize the free diversity of music. You are lucky to be able to enjoy the miraculous 14 years of these teenage girls who have so easily brought about a revolution that has shattered the genres and default concepts of music in this day and age 😄
