That White Scar's armor trimming definitely says "Flamin' Death"
I've always called those shades "visors" or "visor shades"...
The stylized "A" is the Anarchy symbol, I didn't actually know it's use went that far back.
The graffiti adds such a nice splash of flavor to things, they should definitely be at least a little more common....
Oh, and Saruman started out as the White, then cast the title aside and called himself "of many colors" because he was having a bit of an ego trip as he was turning evil. Gandalf went from "the grey" to "the White" to signify him assuming position of leader among the Wizards when Saruman defected formally, I suppose

Coober Pedy is a town in Australia. A pretty remote one, I think. Doesn't explain why it's in that picture, though.

The A logo is the anarchy logo. If memory serves me right it was on a Busta Rhymes album of the same name

The uniformed figures in the gang war image are members of a bus gang who provide protection to buses travelling through the wastelands of Logan's World, a planet in the Eye of Terror (this is before it was said to be the hiding place of Chaos Marines.
During WW2 there was a remotely controlled tracked vehicle called the Goliath that was fielded by the Germans and carried an explosve charge. From its appearance the Cyclops was based on that.
The odd shaped Ork weapon has the grip bending around to form a stock. I think a similar thing exists in the real world in some places to get around laws that banned certain types of weapon based on their grips and stock.
The robot with the ED209 head was just a generic image in the RT rulebook so the artist may not have had specfic weapons in mind when it was drawn. Battlecannons didn't exist at that time though. They were only introduced towards the end of the RT edition.
"Gandalf" is an astropath, hence the empty eye sockets.

The anarchy A sign was very popular with the sort of 2000AD reading punks that drew British sci fi comic art in the eighties. Incidentally, did you know that ultramarine means “beyond the sea” and used to be the most expensive blue paint in the world? Neither did I …

The elongated grip is suppose to work as a shoulderstock

I think I am in the small minority that think Mad Max 1 is the best. I like the Pseudo- Apocalypse feel. Goose originally was going to be lord Humongous in the sequel. I have a laserdisc copy sadly they dubbed in American English . I guess they thought us Americans could never overcome the language barrier.

I think Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome was filmed (in part) near Coober Pedy in South Australia. I guess if the art is inspired by Mad Max?

Technically you could make a argument that daleks are tanks seeing as they have a occupant operating them inside.
As for the bomb things, in ww2 both the Germans and Russians had remote controlled bombs, on tracks. They also experimented with bomb dogs, but had problems with the dog coming back to the handler too many times.
The little leman russ bomb has been retired i think, but it will probably appear for the sola aux in heresy i expect at some point in plastic. The newly revealed krieg come with a small bomb robot on roller/screw wheels.

Is the leman Russ bomb the cyclops?

Bomb bots were sort of used by Germans WW2. Called Goliaths.

Do you honestly not know the 'anarchy' symbol? I'm not being spitty, just seems a bit weird. Or am I the weird one?

I personally disliked fury road. Found it to be the weakest of the mad max movies.
