    I know I just made a cold cream video not that long ago, but I needed an extra Christmas gift for my Grandmother and I know she will love this one! (Plus my other planned video was just not working out and was making me very frustrated. I needed a relaxing cold cream making session to ease away the tension, haha. Anyone else find making skin care products incredibly calming and relaxing?)

    I always love the videos you make of these antique cosmetic recipes. They are always so fascinating and sometimes terrifying.

    Thanks so much for this video! I watched when it first came out, & the idea of doing my own face cream stuck in my head all this time. I'm an experienced herb/personal body care product creator, but never made an emulsion before today. I'm so pleased I followed your video because it was so much less complicated than some of my other recipes & it worked!!! Delighted! ❤

    Bergamont is a delightful scent. Years ago I used a hair cream that was scented with Bergamont.

    Great video! When are you going to do more Edwardian cold creams? I saw one from the early 1900s and a 1911 one.

    This is a lovely recipe! I'm a huge fan of old fashioned cold cream. I use it every night religiously. I even made it a few times, and it worked well! By the way, where do you find all these recipes and books? ❤❤

      Some are from antique books I've purchased, but the majority of the recipes I try come from books available for free on archive.org

    Would it be possible to list the ingredients measurements in standard US measurements?

    • @TheLongHairedFlapper
      @TheLongHairedFlapper  ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you mean by ounce? You should be able to plug the measurements into a measurement converter (or just use Google) to go from grams to ounces.

    When you measure in grams, do you measure by weight or by volume?

    Do you sell these on Etsy or anywhere else?

    • @TheLongHairedFlapper

      No, I don't currently. There are a lot of laws and regulations around selling beauty products, and that's just not something I want to tackle at the moment. Instead, I share the recipes so people can make their own :)

      I like her voice. But if you don't, you have no business being rude about it. And what's your goal in doing so? Is she supposed to change her voice to be sure to suit your taste? Very odd.
