Great review, Pete! I agree with literally everything you say here. I have the dive bezel version, and ultimately would choose it again, but damn your fixed bezel version looks great. The crystal is really well done and also looks great when combined with the rotating bezel. And the finishing throughout the watch is top notch. And I hear you about the PCLs! Normally I don't go for them, but here, they match the polished parts of the case really well, and look fantastic. My one gripe, like you mention, is the butterfly clasp...it's just difficult for me to get a good 'all day' fit without having any micro adjust. But I still love this watch! I should mention that the quick release rubber strap that comes with the watch is high quality, as well. Awesome review, man!
Too many flat bling high polished surfaces for me. I will say that crystal nails the acrylic look, better than any I think I have seen.
A little thick for a sports watch, it looks like what it is - a dive watch with a fixed bezel.
Looking at the website - I do like their selection, a company I will be keeping track of for sure.

Very nice build although those dimensions are smaller than I would typically go for I'm seriously considering dropping down from my usual 40 to 42mm and give a 38mm a go but didn't really want to drop that kind of money for something that I might regret I really appreciate the fact your always comparing to slightly more popular watches That's very helpful Thank you Sir for the killer content 👍

Yeah, I have a Barton tropic and the material is too hard. I can wear it, but, it doesn't feel the most comfortable, especially when just handling it. It's a bitch running the tail end through the buckle and keeper as it takes enough conscious effort to do a simple task. I like their color options. But, I was surprised it is so firm. I was expecting it would be like their elite which is much softer and comfortable to wear. At least it has that bend near the ends where it comes off the watch case/lugs. But, still... Anyways . Live and learn.
I suspect that butterfly clasps have their uses and place but not on a dive watch, and like you I don’t like them. Really like this watch, greaat dial and movement, it’s quite shiny. Love that Everest…
Dude, you got hosed. That's totally a prototype loaner that's been passed around, and he just made that story up. 😂 Just kidding. I can't say I'm a fan of the polished hands. I like chunky hands, too (think Sinn U1), but IDK, I think these need some brushing or chamfers, or something. Overall it's a nice looking, proportioned watch. Enjoy!

Cool watch... but its a 62mas mod... i can almost entirely reproduce it for half the price (only that cant get the same dial and its easier to use a seiko mov).
You can make a Rolex Sub while you're at it And you can put a sweet feiko dial in it!
@@ChillinwitWatches nah, if its not a seiko, its not a seiko. I could use a second hand oem dial, though, but again, not assembled by seiko, so i wouldnt use it. This watch uses a 62mas case and an affordable movement that you can easily get. I wouldnt claim that i can buid a rolex, im saying i can almost repoduce this watch that his in itself a derivation of a 62mas. I tested my claims using nothing but namoki mods parts. its about 350usd.

My minimum case diameter is 40mm, but that small a case dia better have a lug to lug around 50 to look like a man's watch on my 7.5inch wrist. Anything less than that looks like a dainty child or women's dress watch. Not a manly look regardless of style. To each their own, I guess.
The seals watch is ok. Not really my thing. I prefer a utility look rather than dressy. I've worn a 44mm diver with a tux, looked really good too. So, the days of smaller means dressy luxury are long dead. Smaller means girl hands. 😂😉
