I stopped watching after about thirty minutes because I felt this unstoppable urge to go out into the freezing cold and take some photos. Truly inspirational.
One of my favorite things about photography is when i discover these little details about my heroes. Like garry winogrand lending a leica to eugene Smith. The ideia of joel meyerowitz and tony ray jones bumping into Cartier-Bresson in ny.
I appreciate this video very much. Many things to take away from this. A favorite is the comment about seeing the camera not as a tool but as an instrument. That really resonated with me.
Amazing all the contacts Meyerowitz made. I’ve been doing street photography for over 10 years and I have never made a contact like him. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)
Meyerowitz is awesome. Always makes you want go out and shoot (Photos!). One thing suprised me, asa 25 is iso 25, not 10🙄. Still pretty slow film to shoot street!

"The final statement becomes the final statement". well in a way that's street photography for me, never plan, just explore, eventually things will fall in place!

So nice and kind as a person.
1:05:05 ... how did no one notice him lugging around a 4x5 camera at ground zero for weeks at a time? Impressive.
