Thanks for your q. The answer is yes but only when playing slowly while you learn it. As you speed up to normal tempo is will sound more like a quick g note between transitions if that makes sense ?

@@TheDrumabit Just trying to make it easy for the performer when writing down my composition pieces for that specific instrument.
So a grace note is to open that hole? , in this case high g...not to play the high g note quickly between transitions ? ...
