I find myself in the worse case scenario. Not being eligible for the WHO internship, because I graduated 3 years ago, yet do not have enough work experience to get a job at the WHO. The JPO program requires specific nationalities and I am not one of them. So, I can't do an intern, or JPO programs, and not even volunteer, because apparently, you need to be over 27 years old. The UN system sets the bar so high, and I really get intimidated when I see jobs that require 5+ years minimum for assistant jobs, and sometimes they require international experience. It's like the chicken and the egg paradox. What is the right way to go about it? Goals for the near future: Getting an MPH and then apply for an internship Improving some areas like learning French (Already fluent in 2 UN official languages)
In the summer of 2020 I took Richard Skolniks course Essentials Of Global Health (an online course offered by Yale University). It was really enjoyable and gave very interesting persecptives that were different but also complimented my current university studies. Would recommend. :)
Hii martin, I have a trouble on finding the internship position in global career talent, what is the keyword that you use to looking for an open internship position? It will be nice if I know the keyword for the internship position, thanks

To work at the WHO you usually need quite a lot of experience to start with.
