13:56 Basically what Bleach has been advocating. From Tousen, to Gin, to Baraggan, to Ginjo, to Komamura, and now to Bazz B... Bleach has been a promoting the idea that "vengeance will only amount to regrets". It's such a great valuable life lesson. I always loved this part of Bleach.
I don't think Bazz felt regret, and I most definitely know Gin didn't feel an ounce of regret. If Bazz and Gin had to do it all over again, would they take another route? Nah.
4:45 you asked who's that. So just before in the scene, Jugo said he lived with his uncle and Bazz noticed bruises on his arms... Later his uncle calls him his "precious Jugo." I think you know where this is going. He was SA by his uncle so of course he didn't hate Yhwach for killing him, like Bazz did because of his family. And later when Jugo saw that Bazz was disappointed that Yhwach chose him, instead of being happy for his friend. He lost his faith in Bazz too.
also, Jugram was considered completely useless as a quincy, and when the king of quincies himself needed him as his second hand that was probably the only bit of acceptance he got his whole life
@@matthewgilroy8701yes in the end it’s another type of pawn use, but the uncle always made Jugo feel that he needed his uncle. Yhwach at least was open enough to claim he needed Jugo, which was the first time anyone told him that. Revenge is all about you, retaliation by undoing wrongs is about the others that were involved. They walk the same path but split at the end.
even their schrifts are each others initials, Bazz with H/Heat (Haschwalt) and Jugram with B/Balance (Bazz or Black). shows even with their differences and diverging paths, bazz-b and jugram are so tied to each other's lives
Bazz was after revenge for his family's death...that was the initial reason he wanted to be Yhwach's right hand, to get close to him and kill him. The fact that his friend stopped his arrow on that 1st try, when they were kids, is why he was always angry...i think the betrayal was what hurt him the most, not the fact that he didnt get the recognition. Plus, Yhwach killed his family again and his "friend" didnt even blink.....it really doesnt get any worse for his story.....
Can you really call them friends though? It was built off deceit and vengeance so I never considered them to be friends honestly. Bazz is one of my favorites but, his tragedy was done so well. However I never felt like he had any reason warranted to feel the way he did with jugo. Yuha did him a favor killing his uncle so there was never really any hate for Yuha to begin with. I just think bazz was a selifus delusional individual drowned and blinded by his vengeance
@@steurlztutz21 nope, no real friendship i agree with you. But for a kid, playing for a week together is friendship. Not knowing about the abusive uncle also doesnt help Bazz understand Jugram's decision either.. Also, Jugram would be thankful for his uncle's death..but not caring about hundreds others dying..also trauma response. It's not as if Yhwach set out to save him, it just happened while he was killing off everyone in the area...but for a kid Jugram he was a savior, while for Bazz he was a murderer. We have seen many manyyyy others seek revenge for far less than this..
@@steurlztutz21 thank you! i really think Yhwach has proven he is a masterful manipulator..he deprived Jugram of the one person that could mayyyybe make him think for himself, effectively turning him into his best pawn while also keeping tabs on Bazz. Only Aizen is a rival manipulator at this point, Urahara is up there also, but i dont think he would go so far as killing off everybody..probably..
@TaniaKapa im glad someone else thinks yhwach is a masterful manipulator as well. I couldn't agree more with what you said from start to finish. I see so many people act like he isn't as smart and cunning as aizen and kisuke but, I beg to differ. He displays such and I couldn't agree more with the manipulation with jugo. Especially with the almighty being a play he used knowing jugo would essentially come over to his side
Argola, Hubert, Zieldritz in this episode were the original Schutzstaffel (Yuha's royal guard before the sternritter). They were briefly manifested in Yamamoto's bankai (minus the gun girl) to attack fake Yuha. The town that was burnt down was Bazz's clan during Yuha's conquest to conquer numerous lands. This is over a thousand years ago before the first soul society invasion. That's why everything looks medieval. Juha also had his almighty before Ichibe sealed it away using Pernida (left arm of the soul king) during their meeting.
i figured this was either before ichibe sonned him for trying to take a piece of the soul king or right after ihis revival when head captain killed him the first time but i found it weird the soul society wouldnt hear about a quincy causing that much destruction
I think it would have added to this interaction if they showed that Jugram regained the power he gave to Bazz which allowed him to grow. If he really was like Yhwach, it could have been a super meaningful moment, as we know that the Yhwach still feels all the people that died with him.
This episode teaches that many times humans are trapped in illusions about events or friendship meanings like Buzz got wrong about Jugo. Jugo didn't want vengeance like Bazz cause Ywatch has freed him from uncle
Don't forget that Jugo and Bazzy boy was on a mission to kill Yhwach, but in the time that Bazz went for a kill, Jugo PROTECTED Yhwach instead of taking the opportunity to help with the mission And I bet you Yhwach saw it all.
the title : Fri-End. And Bazz does aware he far left behind from Jugo..but he just want to fight him as a traitor. seems like ego + vengeance, and had high confidence he can defeat Jugo.
Another🔥 reaction! Kubo's pen is always on fire no matter if we're talking about it top tier art, poetry, or just his way of writing the characters/ world building. Kubo is the GOAT!
Bazz don't understand that ywach killed Jugo abusive uncle so I'm s wait he thanks Ywach for getting him out that situation where as Bazz hates Ywach for killing his parents that loved him..
Bazz was already a gifted quincy though.. he was able to create a bow, hunt and all that. and then he stood up when ywach spiritual pressure on his own. Come on now folks
Bazz really thought they both shared the same goal. Even after Jugo caught his arrow he was pissed because he felt that was done to pretend that he was protecting Ywach but now he's seeing it as Jugo actually has no intention of killing Ywach.
I think you zoned out on the uncle abuse/sexual abuse scene. Plus Yuha killed his uncle so he has no reason to hate him as Bazz b does. They both have two different situations.
I think there’s more complexity to the episode as mentioned in the comments above. We clearly see Bazz’s side which many soul reapers too can relate. This guy killed and destroyed their fam. This guy gotta go. But then you see Jugram’s side, he’s his savior, like the other royal guard sternritter quincies. It’s like Jhwach is on one side and fights for that side, so whoever is actually on that side is benefited and will follow him to no end, like everyone would follow Yamamoto on soul reapers side. Such a great depiction of current real world as well

Yup, "かわいい" literally means cute, adorable.
