I lived on the south face of Skinner Butte, across from the Amtrak Station, back in the early 80's- Good times. The town is unrecognizable now, to the way it was back then.
I live at YaPo Ah terrace retirement apartments on pearl st at 18 stores it is the tallest building between Portland and San Francisco. i have lived here 11 years met my Wife here
hey Chip great question, several differences between the two areas with Eugene having a greater population, more restaurant and shopping options, closer proximity and easier access to the Cascade Mountains, and centrality in the region with numerous outlying towns. Corvallis is more centered on Oregon State University than Eugene with the University of Oregon (although it's a close second). Feel free to reach out by call or text anytime if you want to chat more about differences between Eugene and Corvallis.
Plenty of public transportation options for getting around town. If moving to the area without a vehicle I recommend living in close proximity to a bus line.

Bicycle Friendly, this is good.
Definitely a plus
Springfield, such a pretty town..... So it is Eugene. A dream!
Agreed, thanks for the feedback!
This is a crazy video. The camera makes the streets look almost unrecognizable.
thanks for the feedback, I’ll keep that in mind for future videos. It was filmed in 360 and then reformatted from there.
Nice rolling stop through the stop sign....
Fair point, the driver should've come to a full stop.
Lovely idea. One cannot drive through a pedestrian "mall".
thanks Neil, I appreciate the feedback
Nice video but the film speed seemed fast
excellent feedback, thanks for letting me know
Eugene, or Corvallis? Which is a better place to live?

The lens was all wrong. Made all the cars look stretched, and steets
thanks for the feedback!
How's Public Transportation there? I see these awesome blue buses...

Where are all the ppl
Good question… I’m assuming my videographer was filming during work hours.
Where is all the filth and homelessness? Wait, I'm thinking of Portland.
