Despite Gsizzle spittin stuff that was mostly generic he was still pretty good and had a pretty good and smooth delivery and big respect to him for not trying to go all hard when he knew he was losing and instead took it like a man and have a good laugh about it "This guy killed me in the ass right there" LOL much better look to admit when youre gettin smoked than pretending like none of them lines hit
Man, Solomon at this stage in his career was damn near untouchable. If he woulda kept this style (mixing the crazy frees with the prepared stuff), he'd still be at the top of the game, imo. Battles like these make watching his newer ones (pretty much every battle since Jin) that much more painful.
Yeah that was the golden age of freestyle shit, but since Jin? He obviously MURDERED E Ness practically harder than any battle rapper ever murdered anybody, and some of his lyrics in the Daylyt battle was visionary too. I agree on the whole though, but that's the game. Very few battles are worth watching.

@@justinpettit3432 Yeah, for sure. He’s definitely improved from that low point of the Mook battle, with the lame nursery rhyme style he was using. He still has some corny moments mixed in, but he’s dope overall.
I gotta respectfully disagree, this was the golden age of rap battle. But his best was in later battles. Him vs E Ness he was fantastic and then vs Big K as well. His battle with Dizaster might of been his best ever showing imo. But these were great battles back in the day and bring back so many memories.
@OneQuest1 he made the same joke about being the reason the black dude is light skinned against shirt n' tie as well, but with quite different wording. it was brilliant tho, ur right.
This was when rappers didnt have to say they outside. They just was
how amazing would it be to be walking through New York and come across Iron Solomon in a rap battle.

Solomon's opponents: variations on a way to kill someone, and various reminders that they do drugs
Solomon: entertainment
Recycled the Rick Moranis rhyme and a few others. It kinda sucks to hear that.
