Thanks for that beautiful, heart-warming story. When I see cats like these with sad biographies enjoying their new lives full of warmth and love, I'm invariably reminded of an interview I once watched with Polish writer Andrzej Szczypiorski, who also provided a loving home for several formerly stray cats. During part of the interview, one of those cats was in his lap happily purring away, and he smiled and said, "You know what she thinks? 'I must have died and gone straight to heaven'...". Made you smile and cry at the same time.
so sweet - 🥰 Thanks for her, for them. Mine is black and it's still a kitty. But the first eight months of his life were tough. I saved him with the shelter. He is amazing.
A wonderful story ! I felt a bit down this morning but this helped to perk me up. Years ago, my family found a cat sleeping under a Christmas tree. After a bad snowstorm, he decided to venture out of hiding and adopted us ! He was a great cat.
” I want to be intentionally grateful“ What an important line in this piece. For so much of our lives. Thank you for sharing Stella, Eliza and your heart with us. 👍🙏
The part where the little sweetie was lying on the bed, making biscuits and drooling was so cute. Cats usually drool when they are either out of their minds with fear or when they are extremely happy. Not hard to guess which one it was here.
Stella is your forever fur baby and you can be sure she'll be waiting for you at the other end of the Rainbow Bridge when your time comes. I hope that brings you comfort in your senior years.
Great story. I have a cat that adopted me. I was not a pet person much less a cat person but he jumped into my lap out of the blue and has been with me ever since. I loved your comment about appreciating the moments you have with her that’s God’s gift. I appreciate every moment I have with mine.
This just fills my heart. I came to cat ownership late in life and am amazed daily at the love I have for my little guy, Winston, and all that he has brought to my life in the past two years.
My favorite thing said by Stella's owner was, "I want to make sure (before Stella passes), before that happens, I have filled all of the memories that I can make with Stella." I love me cats and feel the same way. It just makes their time with us more previous and I think it makes them happier also.
At 11, Stella is still young. I’ve had cats live to 18 and 20, but when the time comes Stella will not leave this earth without knowing what it means to be loved and cared for.
My first cat lived for 18 years… Putting him down was the hardest thing I ever did in my life. I couldn’t function for three days. Six months later my second cat came into my life… And he brings me such joy and happiness. We are so bonded. People who have never bonded with an animal, have no clue what it’s like.
This is how my sister got her cat. It was -24F one night and a cat sat by the door and cried until my sister let her in. Miss Kitty instantly became my sister's BFF, and thus my sister went from "ugh cats suck" to "I would die for Miss Kitty".
Nice! Glad to see this cat step up and provide companionship to a human in need. There are plenty of deserving humans who may not even realize that they need an animal companion. Let’s hope a dog, cat, rabbit, or whatever can make them see the light!
Touching story. I rescued my cat FROM my young daughter who was neglecting him. I never had an animal before. I fell in deep love with him and him with me! I'm still grieving his death 5 yrs ago.
I CANNOT! **Instant tears** My once-in-a-lifetime, forever love, holder-of-my-heart, Sylis had one toe pad that was grey (the rest were pink) as well. The second I saw that, I did the snort-sniffle and whaaaa’d like a baby. You never forget/get over that ONE. There are things in life, that randomly come up, and make you think of them, like this. My heart breaks in missing her but leaps with incredible happiness of the memories, and gratefulness of having her in my life for those 16.5yrs. The one consistent thing in my life throughout that time. The years that I needed her the most. I’ll forever be indebted to her, her patience, her love, and her existence. Sylis, I swear to god, you were the greatest gift to me. Rest in sweet, gentle peace my love. 🐾❤️🙏 Stella may be your Sylis. She’s absolutely precious (with the cutest noises by the way 🥰)
I’m so sorry for your loss. Indian legend says: “When a human dies, there is a bridge they must cross to enter into heaven. At the head of the bridge waits every animal that the human encountered during their lifetime. The animals based on what they know of this person, decide which humans may cross the bridge... and which are turned away”. That would be karma at it’s finest. 🐾♥️🐾
Carley, you WILL see Sylis in Heaven: FACT. In many credible near-death encounters, where the person was clinically dead for minutes or hours and went to Heaven; then was sent back to earth because it wasn't their time--they often report that they see beloved pets from their life soon after entering Heaven. One well known man with a fascinating near-death story said he believes it's God's way of making you feel comfortable in such a new environment, having dear departed pets greet you. Many people also report smelling a comforting smell from their childhood, such as Grandma's bread pudding, or Aunt Sally's banana pudding. God is so awesome he comforts his new residents with these things. Won't that be wonderful to see Sylis again?
They´re absolutely doing it on purpose! I´m adopted too, and the first few months with my Ma´am was me crawling under the furniture fetching her "misplaced" toys. I love her!
I was, and still am, a dog lady. However when my oldest daughter was little she was notorious for bringing home homeless kittens. My husband hated that but I loved it. About 25 years ago right after one of the hurricanes a little orange kitten came out of the woods and he became mine. His name was Frank, he was so special and I loved him to bits. Just before he passed my daughter in law brought me a homeless grey kitten and he’s 12 now. He doesn’t get along with my dog but the both get along with. Enjoy your fur babies
Cats are just incredible. Before I moved to Des Moines in 87 I was a dog guy. A friend me and my roommate worked with lived in the same building and she had a Persian named Sylvester. She couldn't take a cat to Iowa U and asked if we would take him...I was like OK(she was good lookin and couldn't say no...lol). So he was my first of ten cats I have had in the past 35yrs. All the cats I had were incredibly smart and loving...I got lucky!
Animals are one of the greatest gifts and blessings that God gives us. I guess having human children exceeds animals, although many people feel closer to their animals. I am only a fur parent.
It helps to squeeze the kitty a bit every day when trying to achieve maximum love and memories. Not too much, just enough to get your maximum intake of Kitty love.
Stella looks like my little boy Tigger. He past two months ago. He was 18 years old. He had nine pink toe beans and one black, as well. I hope you have many more days with your little girls!
The "introduction" routine you used was amazing. Thank you for taking in these 2 darlings and giving them a loving home where they are well cared for. May y'all have many more happy years together.
Eliza and Stella are such beautiful furbabes. You did an excellent job introducing them using J. Galaxy's time-proven method. We're happy that both furbabes are now in a home where they're cared for, loved & so well protected. Love this heartwarmer of a video. ❤❤❤
you’re so lucky these two got along so well. this is unbelievable, but i have siblings, sisters, who do not get along at all. i mean they’re litter mates, for pete’s sake. they can ear next to each other, but usually just stay out of each other’s way. once in a while there’s a hissy fit. i can’t figure it out and i have used Jackson’s methods on them, but no deal. your babies are just wonder :) 🐈⬛🐈🐾🌷🌱
What a awesome story. Beautiful girls 🐈🐈. I just lost my boy 2 weeks ago. I rescued him from side of the road as a kitten and he was with me for almost 14 yrs. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story. I wish all animals could have a happy ending. ❤️🙏🏼
Brava, DIVA👏! You did absolutely perfectly with this. Jackson would very proud. And I love that you are, in your words, "intentionally grateful". I sure know that feeling and the cats do too😻
This was a really heart felt story. I have been thinking about adopting a cat. After watching this story, I think the time might be right, but I still get nervous when I think about it. I just want to make sure that everything is stable before I do. But I know I can give a cat a good home, with all the care and affection the fur ball can handle
I’ve been owned by a lot of cats in my life and have loved every individual one very deeply. At the moment I have two, and I understand what this woman means when she says she is deeply bonded to Stella. It’s not that you don’t love your other pets, but you have a truly special connection and shorthand with certain animals and I have that with my cat, Hazel. She has ushered me through some really hard times. We just understand each other and there’s such a beautiful love and connection. I can’t imagine my life without her and, like this woman, I’m just filling my cup to the brim with memories and nose boops because I know that she’s going to leave before I do. But what a priceless gift to have that kind of friendship and love in your life. So very priceless. ❤
I cried tears of joy watching this. Bless this lady for rescuing these two precious beings. She has no need to worry- those cats know how deeply she cares for them. They're not only bonded to each other, but to her as well. Such a wonderful outcome for them all! 😻🥰😻
This made me cry so much. This woman is a wonderful cat mom/slave.❤️ She is lovely and so are her babies/bosses. In a world of so much cruelty to non-human animals it always makes me happy to see that there are people who love their babies as much as I love mine. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
A beautiful story of lives, patience, humour, thoughtfulness... and JG! These sweet cats look beautiful and well looked-after, too! Thank you for sharing, you are so right, it is so important to get the little less regretspossible and be right with our cats. 😘😸

Similar story. We found a lost stray barn cat living under our shed. She was in bad shape but the vet check showed nothing wrong. She was extremely malnourished. Her fur hung off her small frame like an oversized coat. That was 3 years ago. She's now a healthy sweet cat who gives so much love and happy that she found herself a good home. A great mouser too btw. ❣️
This is one of the sweetest stories that I have heard on YT. This just melts my heart. Good on all 3 of them for sharing the love.
❤️❤️❤️
Agree💯🙂
😊
YES! Thank you for finding the perfect words to describe this beautiful video - It's exactly how I felt, too.
@@user-vd6sf9zn7g Thank you!
GOD BLESS these people for adopting these beautiful animals!!
Thank you for lovingly taking care of this beauty . She chose you. Lovely lady enjoyed your video.

God bless the cat for picking the kindest human

Thank you so much! Little did I know I found my best furry friend that night. 😻
Stella's little cricket chirp is so adorable. Wonderful animal & human family.
Thank you!
Not a cat person, but these two melted my heart.
Meowww?! (I love when it sounds like a question) 🤣🐾❤️
Same.. pretty kool story this one
Wait it says homeless kitten adopts a human?
If doesn’t matter if you’re a cat person my friend - you can enjoy them if if not your favorite pet 🥰
Thank you! I have yet to introduce them to someone who doesn't fall in love with them. 😸
Intentionally grateful. Something everyone needs to practice. Great story.
Yes! That term resonated with me, too
Thanks! I wondered if people would find that a bit too esoteric so I'm glad it struck a chord. 😽
@@tracyintexas4743 Thanks! I cherish my little moments with Stella
Thank you for adopting them and taking really good care of them.
The title says the cat adopted the human.

All animals... including farm animals. Animals are not food. Be kind, eat plants 🌱
It is a blessing from heaven when you have a cat who answers to your calls.
” I want to be intentionally grateful“

This just fills my heart. I came to cat ownership late in life and am amazed daily at the love I have for my little guy, Winston, and all that he has brought to my life in the past two years.

A homeless cat adopted me last July. He's had me now for 6 months. I love this little guy so much for finding me. ❤️
That was one lucky kitty and her friend won the lottery.
What a wonderful story of cat love. I so respect this owner’s thoughtfulness about animal ownership. Stella & her sister are very lucky kitties. 💞

the ending is so good, when animals leave our lives, but ours never left them.
They´re absolutely doing it on purpose! I´m adopted too, and the first few months with my Ma´am was me crawling under the furniture fetching her "misplaced" toys. I love her!
I think cats that have been through hell like this are way more grateful when they get out of the situation. They understand how good they have it. 😻
Why are people so mean to animals?? It just baffles me! Thank God for people like this woman!!
When I see one animal grooming another, it makes me cry.
I like how she introduced the new cat to Stella and how they bonded instantly. I definitely will be trying this method in the future.

This lady took great care of a small little kitty, and she has been rewarded with a cat’s love. They are grateful to each other.
She right about one thing, dogs have owners and cats have staff.
This video made me cry, I have a boy cat that looks just like Stella and he’s the sweetest boy. I love cats so much.
This story is just beautiful. Thank you for giving these cats the chance they needed and such a good home ♥️💕🐾
"Intentionally grateful", such a wonderful phrase that we can all learn from.

Gorgeous story, this woman knows how to care. You could see her emotion when talking about Stella being 10yrs old. Both beautiful cats.

A very touching story. So glad the two bonded. I once had two litter-mates that were total opposites. They never bonded. So weird.
