- A relaxing "virtual walk" in the New Forest. No commentary. Just the ambience of the New Forest- accompanied by some quiet, relaxing music.
This is a 29 minute walk starting at the enchanting Roe Inclosure and heading South passing by "Castle Piece" (an Iron Age Hill Fort) . I eventually get to the Greenford Bottom and follow the Southern side of Red Shoot Wood, following the course of the Linford Brook (which was bone dry!). I then get to Linford Bottom on the Southern side of the Great Linford Inclosure & finish just before the car park at Linford. The video was filmed on a very bright, sunny morning in mid Summer.
My route took me along grass tracks through wooded inclosures with the sun glimpsing through the trees. No humans or cars - just birds & the odd squirrel or two for company.
All of the music was from the TH-cam Audio Library.

I did my walk from Linford bottom this morning. I love how different the NF looks in the changing seasons. Really enjoyed this video Dave. There's plenty of water there now!
Thanks Anne. Yes, it was certainly a lot less water about there when I filmed, that is for sure!
Thanks Dave love this style because you get to see the whole thing rather than just snippets
