I think the base makeup might be the prettiest I’ve seen from this series. I feel like a lot of the other ones look a lot more cakey and makeup-y in comparison. I always appreciate when makeup artists use less foundation and concealer so it looks more natural but still full coverage
I agree and I think a huge part of that is she embraces primers as tool to perfect the skin before going in with complexion products. When I hear a makeup artist say they think primers are unnecessary, and you get the same effect with skincare products, I’m always side eyeing them😂 You see the massive difference just by comparing a side with a primer and a side w/ no primer on bare skin (after all the skin prep you want is on.) She embraces the motto work smarter not harder when so many others think bypassing a primer makes you a more talented artist, when it does not. I thought Rayna was a schooled Makeup Artist too. To hear she is self taught and is at the level she is, able to do everything for a client from the elaborate, absolutely gorgeous outfits, to the picture perfect hairstyles and hair pieces to the gorgeous makeup. That’s unbelievable she can do it all and does each so well. You are cutting out minimal of two other people you have to hire when you get someone like her. And if you watch her work, the positive energy and calming effect she has when you know how stressful these events in your life can be- that’s priceless in itself. It’s like having your best friend and big sister, wedding/event coordinator, hairdresser, makeup artist, and fashion designer all there with you on these big days.❤

People always skip their brows in camera or edit it down because of how long and how tedious a process it is for most people and Rayna does it as fast as most take to line their lips.

I love when you have a makeup artist do your makeup. It’s always so nice seeing a pro do makeup on someone who’s self taught and very talented and get the tips and tricks from the pro while also getting the feedback by the self taught beauty creator. I’ve been watching this makeup artist for awhile and she really is so talented and watching her work is mesmerizing as she transforms these beautiful women into something you’d see in a movie or at a celebrity event. She is such a delight.

I am always blown away that Rayna does not just makeup but everything. That is so rare to find someone able to do it all. Usually you have 3 different people to do each category if you will and she is exceptional at all of it, plus she is such a great support for one of the biggest times in one’s life where it can be so stressful and nerve wracking. Whatever they pay can’t be nearly enough for what all she is able to provide a client.
She has the softest, prettiest voice, and oh my god, her makeup/hair - STUNNING. I understand it'd be too much for her to make videos, but I'd immediately subscribe to listen to her voice and watch her paint. It's mesmerizing. ✨️
Thank you for always telling us her method to the magic, like where she typically likes to end the wing with an easy way of remembering, between the outer eye and where the brow tail ends and blush being the pupil of the eye being her way to figure out placement. This type of info you always make sure to include is so very helpful when we are doing our makeup to be able to fall back on to make it way more simple. This is also the first makeup artist I’ve heard say how she is for primers. I think primers make such a huge difference on how the makeup turns out looking and I can never understand how so many MUA don’t see them as a must for majority of skin types and different ages. Forget even the longevity it helps with. It helps give the skin this beautiful smooth canvas to work on that continues to make the skin look more even and smooth for the entire time you have the makeup on. Primer even alone, without a stitch of makeup even makes the skin look far better, so I don’t know how all these MUA say primers are unnecessary and good skin prep and products do the very same thing. It does not. Not even close to the same thing.

Okay, here me out. I feel like this look is very fashion forward. You look younger (not in a childish way), brighter, and healthy compared to some of the heavier looks. I especially love that after specializing in deeper skin tones, she didn't feel the need to make you deep, colorful, or heavy! She did what looks best on your high contrast light skin. LOVE.
Rayna did a really lovely job. The thing is, you are extremely talented and experienced at doing your own makeup and you know what suits you and what doesn’t. A makeup artist is at a disadvantage only having one go at putting the makeup on you. When they do the makeup on someone who is not that great at putting it on themselves then the difference is hugely noticeable. This look and the one done by the Chicago makeup artist are my two most favourite.

My goodness, this looks fantastic! Your skin looks so incredibly smooth, and I LOVE how diffused and bright the center of the face looks (like the transition from undereye to cheeks). I've always been a fan of a pink-hued powder under the eyes, but I've never heard anyone explain it the way she did, and it makes so much sense! The fact that she used both the pressed and loose versions of the same powder is interesting, because I'm not sure if I've ever really seen anyone else do that, make it look so good, and explain the reasoning behind it. Also, your brows look great lol. She's clearly very talented and super sweet! I'll definitely be following her on social media!
Beautiful! Love the brightness of the center of your face. I prefer shorter lashes so they look a bit more natural and don't draw so much attention. I really appreciate how she chose not to do a smokey eye for a change from other videos in the series. Overall gorgeous! And she's a lovely person - bonus!

Loved that pink blush on you, and the skin looks really nice. The eyes are somewhat simple, but they suit you. I was a bit sad that seam of the fake lash is visible, though. Maybe it didn’t have enough time to dry.

Oh my gosh, she's the sweetest! I love the brightness of the undereyes and the way that she did the cream color on your eye lids makes your lid space look huge and makes it seem like your eyes are really bright and open. Love it!

I am always blown away that Rayna does not just makeup but everything. That is so rare to find someone able to do it all. Usually you have 3 different people to do each category if you will and she is exceptional at all of it, plus she is such a great support for one of the biggest times in one’s life where it can be so stressful and nerve wracking. Whatever they pay can’t be nearly enough for what all she is able to provide a client.
She has the softest, prettiest voice, and oh my god, her makeup/hair - STUNNING.
I understand it'd be too much for her to make videos, but I'd immediately subscribe to listen to her voice and watch her paint.

Thank you for always telling us her method to the magic, like where she typically likes to end the wing with an easy way of remembering, between the outer eye and where the brow tail ends and blush being the pupil of the eye being her way to figure out placement. This type of info you always make sure to include is so very helpful when we are doing our makeup to be able to fall back on to make it way more simple. This is also the first makeup artist I’ve heard say how she is for primers. I think primers make such a huge difference on how the makeup turns out looking and I can never understand how so many MUA don’t see them as a must for majority of skin types and different ages. Forget even the longevity it helps with. It helps give the skin this beautiful smooth canvas to work on that continues to make the skin look more even and smooth for the entire time you have the makeup on. Primer even alone, without a stitch of makeup even makes the skin look far better, so I don’t know how all these MUA say primers are unnecessary and good skin prep and products do the very same thing. It does not. Not even close to the same thing.
Hi Taylor, thanks for the video! I like what Rayna did here. I think this is a softer look than the other artists did, and it's very becoming. Although the more intense looks the others did were also good!

Okay, here me out. I feel like this look is very fashion forward. You look younger (not in a childish way), brighter, and healthy compared to some of the heavier looks. I especially love that after specializing in deeper skin tones, she didn't feel the need to make you deep, colorful, or heavy! She did what looks best on your high contrast light skin. LOVE.
Rayna did a really lovely job. The thing is, you are extremely talented and experienced at doing your own makeup and you know what suits you and what doesn’t. A makeup artist is at a disadvantage only having one go at putting the makeup on you. When they do the makeup on someone who is not that great at putting it on themselves then the difference is hugely noticeable. This look and the one done by the Chicago makeup artist are my two most favourite.
So pretty not too overdone , natural but also elegant .

My goodness, this looks fantastic! Your skin looks so incredibly smooth, and I LOVE how diffused and bright the center of the face looks (like the transition from undereye to cheeks). I've always been a fan of a pink-hued powder under the eyes, but I've never heard anyone explain it the way she did, and it makes so much sense! The fact that she used both the pressed and loose versions of the same powder is interesting, because I'm not sure if I've ever really seen anyone else do that, make it look so good, and explain the reasoning behind it. Also, your brows look great lol. She's clearly very talented and super sweet! I'll definitely be following her on social media!
Beautiful! Love the brightness of the center of your face. I prefer shorter lashes so they look a bit more natural and don't draw so much attention. I really appreciate how she chose not to do a smokey eye for a change from other videos in the series. Overall gorgeous! And she's a lovely person - bonus!

Loved that pink blush on you, and the skin looks really nice. The eyes are somewhat simple, but they suit you. I was a bit sad that seam of the fake lash is visible, though. Maybe it didn’t have enough time to dry.
