Thank you for recording/publishing this. I'm a very satisfied Losi 'DB Pro' owner and the information afforded in your video is much appreciated. I've already applied 'lock-tight' to the motor/differential mounting screws as a prophylactic against stripping the composite OEM spur gear.
Putting that little square piece for the spider gear is such a pain in the ass My drunk ass took like an hour putting that s*** in last night.thanks for the video, it helped me out
Hello brother.. see closer 26:26... That inner gear "square" washer on one side is not sitting right.. I think the square washer slide out of that when you try to fit the other side. Please take a look

There are tweezers for such a beautiful, precise differential. A very nice differential made of aluminum from Losi but save on the main gear? By the way, you made a mistake. One of the ends of a pin is not in one of the 4 blocks but below it. See at 31:05. But nice video. Keep it up.
Just a thought - I've had really good luck with the loctite sticks. They look like glue sticks, and the loctite lasts a lot longer. Way less mess and no drips 👍

I think it would have been easier to service a Rolex than the U4 differential. You did a great job explaining everything and showing the entire process. Thanks sharing this. 👍🫶
The 7200 mAh battery on the table is that from the truck? I am getting a Losi Lasernut 4U and looking for the biggest battery i saw the Spektrum 10000mAh 4S 120c IC5 14.8v, but unsure if its too much ... i need to get a battery n charger and looking for the longest lasting one?
hmm i cant seem to find one of the SCTE40SM1 spur gears for sale anywhere, do you know of any place to find one? of a different upgrade spur gear for the lasernut?

Hey, nice video, I just see a little mistake there. One of the dice holding the shaft is outside the shaft, it's above it. It 's nice to see when you close the differential. :(
Everywhere I read it says to use ~3,000-7,000 silicone oil for the center dif. I'm new to RC so im not sure what to use. My differential keeps going out though and seems to leak all the fluid out. What am I doing wrong? And you said you used 500,000 weight fluid, can you explain please?
For the size tire I use and how I drive the RC the thicker center diff fluid puts more power to the rear wheels and makes better use of the battery packs time usage.
I just recently purchased a Lasernut and manual doesn't mention Diff weight, however, I noticed that the online manual (from Losi) mentions 10k in front, 5k in middle, and 20k in rear. I also noticed that the M4 nuts that hold my wheels on are not nylon lock nuts as specified in the manual. They are non-nylon nuts. Is this normal? Thanks.

Add 1 shim to the ring gear side ,and add 250k or 500k silicone differential fluid. Use associated electrics green slime on your o rings .

Maybe it was a revision if they are now using knurled nuts however in my opinion either way knurled or nylock lock tite should be used
My center diff is now 500K
so whats the difference between the Vitavon and Hot Racing parts besides the price

Honestly quality of materials is unknown similar to taking your vehicle to jiffy lube
The metal spur gear is too heavy and seems to come off the main gear box easier, may need a stronger locktite
