I am so happy to have found your channel! You have the perfect mix...talented artist, soothing voice, excellent teacher and lovely but quiet music in the background. Thank you💕
Hunderwasser lived in New Zealand from 1973 until his death and is buried here. He was renowned for a public toilet block in an out of the way town called Kawakawa, which put it on the tourist track. Talking of tracks, the towns other claim to fame is the railway track that runs up the middle of the main street. Before he died he designed a beautiful museum building which has been constructed in accordance with his plan in Whangarei, a much larger town. Well worth a visit if you ever find yourself in New Zealand. It's a beautiful part of the country, with a great climate
I'm thrilled when you do a tribute series. I learn so much. I've never heard of this artist before, and I like his work. Spirals are my thing to put in my artwork as well and it tickled me to know that this such artist had a thing for spirals too. Your videos are a balm to my morning. They're longer than I usually watch, but I sip my coffee and relax with you -- it's like a visit to your workshop, watching all the creating happen. Thank you, Fulton, for your expertise and time. Many blessings!
Happy to make the acquaintance of your inspiration. I especially want to look into his actions around linking human activities with the environment. Stunning prints today, Fulton!
Hundertwasser has always been one of my favorite artists! If you ever have a chance to visit Vienna, you can see a number of his fantastically designed buildings. Including a fabulous apartment building which also contains a museum about him. Best thing about the museum is that the floors undulate. He wanted you to stay awake while walking around and not just zone out :-)
I really enjoyed learning about this new artist to me! Thank you for introducing him to us! I was on the edge of my seat with that last pull for sure and it ended up being my favorite too! Thank you for another great session and keep on rollin'! Cheers!!! 🥰
Friedensreich - peaceful empire (or rich peacefulness) - Regenstag - rainy day - Dunkelbunt - colorful dark - Hundertwasser - hundred waters. The artist had a truly beautiful vision. And, thank you Fulton for introducing him to us.
I’ve watched this multiple times. I agree awesome! I’ve ordered a Gelli plate and after seeing this I may eventually purchase a 16 x 20”. I’m 81 and you have inspired me to give this a try.
Rollin' rollin' rollin, keep those brayers rollin'. Thank you for introducing this artist to me. You are fabulous! Sending regards from a very hot London UK ❤
Thank you for paying hommage to Mr. Hundertwasser, another of my favorite artists. This is one of my favorite videos and your last pull is perhaps my favorite piece I’ve seen from you to date. It’s stunning and pulls me right in. (I can’t stop looking at it!) One of his famous quotes, believing that straight lines represent conformity and oppression: *The straight line is the devil.*
What I find amazing are the details of Mr. Hundertwasser's life from surviving the awful Nazi occupation and his life changing move to Northern New Zealand, and his unswerving beliefs in ecological awareness. He was so ahead of his time!
@@artwhisperer88 I read that his experiences during the Nazi occupation profoundly impacted his worldview and artistic style, understandably so, and his works consistently expressed a deep belief in freedom, individuality, and a connection to nature- His focus on blending architecture with the environment was quite avant-garde and I imagine inspired the sustainable architecture of today. He was certainly a remarkable human. 🙏🏻
Found a book about this artist at the charity shop. He was so influential and famous in his day. Would love to see an original work as they are reported to be super luminous. Just love your content. Thank you.
Also, if anyone is in the Napa Valley, just north of San Francisco, go visit the Quixote Winery. Its buildings were designed by Hundertwasser and it’s like walking into one of his paintings!!
Loved the stencil pieces - they really made the original pulls come to life. Don’t know where I was eleven days ago when your video came out- probably too involved with the political landscape to see your alert. Sure love it when I can catch a fresh video from you. I unashamedly love every thing you do. So, once again, thank you so much for your sharing your talents with us.
I just got some very narrow brayers in the mail today that I think will help me on my 8x10 gel plate. The firtst 4 prints I made were very muddy. You make it look sooo easy.😅
You have to do at least 100 pulls first before you figure out technique, how much paint to use. You're right, Fulton does make it look very easy. Save all your "fails" because they work really well in collage pieces (ask me how I know;)
Love his work. They all came out beautifully done. Also have you ever taped off on your gel plate perhaps down the middle or cross cross to make multiple pieces? I did it last week and it’s really cool looking.

I LOVE Huntertwasser! Thanks so much for this homage.
Really outstanding prints! Thanks for introducing us to Hundertwasser, I'd not heard of him.
Found a book about this artist at the charity shop. He was so influential and famous in his day. Would love to see an original work as they are reported to be super luminous. Just love your content. Thank you.
Thank you! I have a small book of his work. Loved watching this! ❤
As always, I love your work and learn so much about technique from you. I’m also loving learning about other famous artists through these homages.
Also, if anyone is in the Napa Valley, just north of San Francisco, go visit the Quixote Winery. Its buildings were designed by Hundertwasser and it’s like walking into one of his paintings!!
Thanks for an introduction to his work.!
Another amazing video, thank you! You could call yourself the ArtProfessor88! Hundertwasser is someone I'd like to explore further.
I admire your work very much.
Bellissimo Fulton. The third one is my favorite!
Very inspiring as always, thank you so much!!! ❤
Love your artist inspired videos. I had not heard of his artist before. Beautiful work, particularly the last pull.
The last one is a gem!
Another great inspiration and the prints turned out fabulous.

Another superb session!
I loved all, but yes, that last pull was just stunning!
Your last print was, as you would say”very cool”
I just got some very narrow brayers in the mail today that I think will help me on my 8x10 gel plate.

Sometimes it's easier to pull the plate from the paper instead of pulling the paper of the plate.
Great prints 🎉
@@schwarzekatz602 yes, sometimes. Not this time.

Oh what a good idea! I just purchased a really giant gel plate recently and that would be delightful to try.
👏👍❤🙋♀️🤗🌻
What weight of Richerson are you using?
88 lb. my lucky number!
I may have missed it. What do you make your stencils out of now?
plastic folder dividers
I'm pretty sure you said that sand color was called dune.
Easy mix up, though. ❤
