Dale Strickler Webinar: Maximizing Return from Native Grass by Kansas Grazing Lands Coalition

In this webinar, Dale Strickler discusses the limitations of productivity in the native tallgrass prairie and techniques for profitably managing these limitations. Dale is an agronomist and a leader in the soil health movement. He grew up on a diversified farm near Colony, KS, then attended Kansas State University, achieving both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Agronomy. He also has his own cattle operation near Jamestown, KS, where he puts into practice his theories about creating better soil. He planted his first cover crop in 1988 and has been experimenting with them ever since with increasingly impressive results.

I have ordered Mr Strickler's books and the Green Cover guide. I ordered seeds about 2 years ago and will try them out this winter/spring in my yard as test plots. I plan to read and order fresh seed again from Green Cover. I watch all the videos and am subscribed to the GC mailing list. I really appreciate this University quality and real Farmer experiences. I am North East AZ, USDA zone 6b. I hope to buy some acreage in a few years and have fun (silly me). Thanks again.
