The 150/80 is stock size on the 1600 Nomads (and 1500s too?). Many people switch to the 130/90 to achieve a bit quicker steering response. Non-Nomads (the Classic models) come with 130/90 stock.
Hi There, I have a Vulcan classic with the wide front wheel and there is no room between the rim and brake rotor to slide the caliper out. Looks like I might have to take the rotor off? Any advice?
I can usually get the wheel off taking the caliper off. I would have thought your wheel would be the same as everything else is much the same. I just have the hard panniers. Mine is 2007 model Nomad. If you have problems search Vulcan forums. You can often find answers to most problems on the forums.
Fantastic tutorial!!! Thank you very much. Taking off the tire of my Kawasaki Vulcan for the 1st time and this was perfect
Cheers! Thanks for the comment!
Wrenching on cement in bare feet......like a Boss. Right on.
Hot day. Cement nice and cool. I promise I won’t use this video for how to OH&S. Maybe OH&S how not to. 😂😀
Greg, if you compress the caliper pistons it will tilt enough to remove it. No a lot of room but time will come out without removing the rotor.
front wheel bearing replacement ?
Haven’t done them
Front wheel bearing replacement is why I am on this video
Thanks there saved me some 💰
Yes it is always good to save some of them $$$$
