It's pretty great. I like the art in the main series and most of the art in this volume. Some of the art in the other World's volumes wasn't for me...but the World's series are anthologies so they do feature several different artists.
I've been reading all of Black Hammer in trade paperback format, but I skipped Visions for two reasons. Firstly, they never released it in paperback! But secondly, I understood this to be sort of 'Elseworlds' stories and not canon to the rest of it. Is that the impression you got?
@LarrysLibrary Lemire said this in one of his newsletters: "Honestly, I kind of see them as out of canon. They are fun, cool stories with other writers interpreting the world and I gave them free reign to do so. But I don’t necessarily think of these “Visions” as in continuity."
I enjoyed this book as well. For me it was the less enjoyable of the World of Black Hammer books. Probably because of the high quality of the story telling in the prier books. It was still good though.

I actually didn't realize that. I didn't notice it "violate" anything already established in the main books?
