Great episode guys, and brilliant location. Nice work on the technical details too, I.e tyre pressures etc! Can't wait to visit some of these spots.

Great video. If anyone has trouble getting out of the National Park via the beach, head as far south along the beach as possible and there is a track that everyone with camper trailers uses to access the beach.

randomroen Yep. That's off malimup beach and is called the Summertime Track. For good reason as they close it over the peak of winter because of the water.
In this video Malimup was the "burnt" section.

Been down there many times and stayed in one of the camp sites off the Vasse highway Arrived around 6.00pm set up camp and eventually went to bed. Next moring we went touring and found some delightful places, and magnificent scenery, of the Southern Ocean Sunday we took off to the Yeagerup dunes ,where we played around as some vehicles were not very successful geting up onto the top of the dune. once we got them all up we then headed down the Yeagurup Dunes where we stopped for lunch. Then along the beach , with the long haul up the Callcup dunes. My tyre pressures were at 15 PSI and never had a problem with the dunes or the beach. Some folks had to take two or three runs up the dunes , before we finally got every one up. Then into Pemberton for hot showers at the back packers lodge, picked some take away , headed back to camp. We were all so tired that we didnt have the usual fire going, so had our take away and then to bed. Monday was a poblic holiday and so the long haul back. Someone new a short cut and we all followed . We missed the traffic jams and soon acme out near the International Terminal side of the Airport. Was last down there two years ago and plan on going back come late autumn 2017.

At 7.30 you were exiting off Malimup beach along the Summertime track. Poor Malimup never gets any recognition. Lol.
    Great video guys.

Great vids guy, mates got "our' spot of the south track and we come out on top of the hill with no desire to go down it in fears of not being able to get back out again. we did 2 trips there and still havent explored the beach, got caught up doing crossings, so much to do. Hope you guys do a vid of the crossings in the park.

Yeah Yeagarup dunes can be tricky to get out of.
I went down to 12 psi in the FJ and had to get a run up from way way down the bottom. The sand, according to the locals, was "hard" at that time!! They told me I need to be very careful if I were to come back in the summer....

Darren Gandy The landcruiser made it up the second section without too many issues, i think it was 2 attempts. (its a petrol and has plenty of power). We didnt film both sections as it would pretty much look the same on camera and become boring. The GU how ever had to make a few more attempts as the EGTs where getting quite high and had to keep backing off just before the top.
