Alabama as we know the cheaters are officially done. It takes around 3 years for new coaches on teams to figure out if they are improving or not. Take that same concept and go I'm reverse. It takes the same time to know when coaches regress. It's year 3 of the NIL and it shows clear as day bama was paying guys before then. Nobody will admit it though. He’s great at using a top QB and good receivers… I don’t see him as a HC in college long. I think his style would work good in the pros. Maybe he follows Caleb?
That's not even the first time that's happened with Mario Cristobal. At Oregon, he virtually did the same exact thing. Except if he knelt it at Oregon, the clock would've drained down to the 10-15 second mark.
History lesson for some. This was from another person who commented: "Texas hasn't won consecutive Red River match ups since 08-09. Oklahoma has won 17 of the last 25 games." Plus, let me add, the Sooners have a chance to add to their record 14 Big 12 championships, which included six in a row from 2015-20 when they made the College Football Playoff four times.
The point is moot here. Why did the RB fumble the dang ball? It was on him ultimately. People quick to praise in moments of glory, then they'll delight in tearing you down. Hypocrisy I tell you.
The only thing Bama needs to clean up is the penalties, and consistency on the offensive line. There is nobody left on Bamas schedule that is a threat. LSU can’t stop a nose bleed, Arkansas is going to get killed next weekend, Tennessee isn’t going to be able to deal with Alabamas front 7 with how weak their O line is, Kentucky just got murdered on the road, Auburn only has the home field advantage in the Iron bowl…. Bama is winning out, and playing for the SEC title.

FSU owns LSU. Back to back. "Now I don't wanna hear about this ever again, not even when she tell em that they better as friends" that type of feeling. Not even when they're tweeting it's a sell-out event.
OU looked real good last year in the bowl game vs FSU. Their defense has gotten a lot better. Texas can’t score in the red zone they rank in the 100s & that cost them the game. Kentucky can’t throw & you knew they weren’t running on Georgia so not really surprised by that game. Cristobal has made this mistake before but man to do it again is inexcusable

Next year, it will be three teams from the Big Ten, three teams from the SEC, one maybe two teams from the ACC and two teams from the west or 4 or 5 teams from the Big Ten and the SEC when they get their new teams to their conference. Didn’t Texas whoop Alabama a couple of weeks ago? Why is the only point that Oklahoma and Texas always have to be afraid of the SEC? That LSU defense doesn’t look too terrifying.
Notre Dame loss was not good for Ohio State and the Texas loss wasn't good for Alabama. Ohio State has to beat Penn State and Michigan just to get to their conference championship game. This is one of the reasons why they're going to a 12 team playoff. They want more north eastern teams in the playoffs. And they want Alabama or LSU or Georgia in the playoffs. And then eventually Texas and Oklahoma. They need a few teams from the west so Oregon, Washington, USC, but they're coming to the Big Ten. Plus they're going to want Colorado. It's all about TV revenue.
This idea that the SEC is just loaded top to bottom every year is just ridiculous. Mizzou since joining has been irrelevant, Vanderbilt is terrible every year, South Carolina is usually mediocre, Miss St. is usually mediocre. Alabama always good, Georgia is the best program in football right now, and the schools not mentioned have some great seasons here and there, mixed in with mediocre ones. It’s a better league than the Big 12, but the disparity isn’t nearly what ESPN has pretended it to be.
Alabama is just going to get better as the year goes on. They got UGAs attention certainly. There’s no drama about what’s going to happen. UGA - Alabama in Atlanta for playoff seeding and the rematch in Houston for all the money.
@@rxdawg75sorry to break the news to you buddy but Kirby and Georgia is 1-4 against Alabama. That’s not how you take the crown.winning one time doesn’t negate years of getting beat.
While I respect the teams of the SEC I do not agree with the notion that any SEC team will be more difficult to beat than the Big 12 teams. This is the typical thinking of some SEC fans and "experts" who believe that because Alabama and a few other schools have a winning tradition that it makes every team in the SEC hard to beat. This is false and gives no respect to some good teams in the Big 12 and is not what I expect from anyone who professes to be a college football "expect."
Lincoln Riley has to have a independent defensive coordinator to build & run a defense with the ability to run the defense as his own kingdom. As OU fan, glad to have Brent Venables with his desire for defense over Lincoln Riley.
People here in LA just don’t get it. Still don’t understand what we Sooner fans have been telling you. LR is a one trick pony. After we lost to GA in the Rose Bowl, I was certain Stoops would be gone. But no, we waited until the next season’s loss to Texas for that to happen. Riley is a young coach, and offensive coach. Not a head coach. And here he is yet again relying on his offensive to outscore what his defense gives up. It’s that simple.
I don’t know ANY OU fan that had ANY hesitations about about going to SEC w/ Texas..? We were super excited,Besides King Barry Switzerland. If may memory serves me correct OU brought Texas to the SEC table… come on Paul do better

If he wasn’t making 10’s of millions in NIL maybe. He’s gotten deals out there that he most likely wouldn’t have at OU simply due to the location/market.
Watching the USC-AZ game Caleb Williams was looking frustrated and at times it genuinely looked like he was thinking (after OU’s big win over Texas) “I should’ve stayed at Oklahoma”
@@stephenhamel9464 thats what I've noticed the last few games. He looks really fed up with being pretty much the only work horse
USC loses at least 2.
Oregon woops usc
OU would smoke USC by 30 easily
and TX too,,and NC, and WASH & oregon,, and the big dogs,,GEO.
Paul Finebaum must have hated Nick Saban and will never give him any credit. So, everything he said regarding Alabama needs to be taken with a grain of salt and dismissive immediately.
He loves Saban. Who he hates, with a passion, is Bob Stoops.
@@jamescampbell9533 If you call that love, I would hate to what you think hate actually is.
I remember when things got heated and they were arguing and turned into screaming, there's actually a video of it.
@@jjhonnz Really? Never seen that video before, but I only learned of Paul Finebaum several years ago. Never listened to his radio show, so I only know him through things like youtube videos.
You must not be familiar with Paul and Alabama/Saban love affair. Paul was the Saban fan club for years until Kirby knocked him off his perch.
Paul wanted Alabama to lose so badly...
He want to be the first person to say it’s over for Alabama so bad
Alabama as we know the cheaters are officially done. It takes around 3 years for new coaches on teams to figure out if they are improving or not. Take that same concept and go I'm reverse. It takes the same time to know when coaches regress. It's year 3 of the NIL and it shows clear as day bama was paying guys before then. Nobody will admit it though. We know ole leprechaun Nicky is a cheater.
Thank you Lincoln Riley for going to USC and taking the staff with you. It is safe to say OU has the right man leading the program. TEBOW will leave USC and follow CW when he goes to the NFL.
Don’t forget cristobal did that before. I’m 2018 vs Stanford. He had an opportunity to just kneel it. Instead a run play
And fumble leading to a loss
Miami: coaching malpractice.
Fire him
SOONERS!
Lincoln Reilly, the Hal Mummy/Mike Leach,June Jones/Jerry Glanville.
All gas no brakes.
So innovative, so much loser.
He’s great at using a top QB and good receivers… I don’t see him as a HC in college long. I think his style would work good in the pros. Maybe he follows Caleb?
Oklahoma would destroy LSU today. SEC is too top heavy like OU and Tex with the big 12.
Go Dawgs!!! Best team in the country!
Roll Tide!
~ Because you beat Kentucky? Lmao.. Kentucky is not a top 25 team
BOOMER SOONER
Kentucky WAS a top 20 team. Now TA&M is and was unranked.
Don't count your chickens yet
The movie event of this holiday season! Don't miss How the Grinch Stole Defense starting Lincoln Riley and Alex Grinch! Bwahahaha 🤣🤣🤣
The point is moot here. Why did the RB fumble the dang ball? It was on him ultimately. People quick to praise in moments of glory, then they'll delight in tearing you down. Hypocrisy I tell you.
Thanks for the kind words Paul. BOOMER
Sooner!!
When you look at Oklahoma and clemson that really tells you the dichotomy between those two and how much hot water clemson seems to start to be in
I love sooner fans , we are humble ppl , but will tell you up yours wit the quickness, gotta love it.
I’ve got Auburn winning iron bowl this year
The shame and panic in Finebaum as soon as the camera goes to him on the Oklahoma Texas segment
And what are you saying man, we aren't apprehensive about joing the SEC and following "big brother". You've lost it Finebaum
He's pathetic
FSU owns LSU. Back to back. "Now I don't wanna hear about this ever again, not even when she tell em that they better as friends" that type of feeling. Not even when they're tweeting it's a sell-out event.
The USC offense as a whole wasn't that impressive either. Really it was just Caleb Williams
Who could only run the ball
OU looked real good last year in the bowl game vs FSU. Their defense has gotten a lot better. Texas can’t score in the red zone they rank in the 100s & that cost them the game. Kentucky can’t throw & you knew they weren’t running on Georgia so not really surprised by that game. Cristobal has made this mistake before but man to do it again is inexcusable
Dawgs have been fooling everyone but themselves & Paul & Me lol 😂 🤘 love the show
Indeed, or well, fooling some others at least. Sooner alum/fan here but living in eastern Kentucky. My oldest son came home beaming on Friday because he made a bet with his middle school math teacher, our local ultimate Georgia Dawgs fan, that he just knew was a winner. Then he watched his kid brother's and my reaction when he announced this. And then he came away from his PlayStation during halftime to see the score. At least my youngest son and my oldest son's math teacher around here weren't fooled. :D
Don’t you dare call Texas big brother again FineBUM.
Oklahoma has owned Texas the past two decades now…
Next year, it will be three teams from the Big Ten, three teams from the SEC, one maybe two teams from the ACC and two teams from the west or 4 or 5 teams from the Big Ten and the SEC when they get their new teams to their conference. They wanna make sure a couple teams from every region make the playoffs like in the NFL.
Didn't Paul say saban was done and washed? Looks like where in good position to win the west and getting better. Wait until Julian Sayin is QB next year. Everyone is screwed.
The same way they screwed when Bryce Young was there????
@@malikprince3305I mean they were in the national championship with Young. I’m pretty sure you’ve heard the old saying of “If Jameson Williams and John Metchie don’t get hurt.”
@@dariuswilliams3206 Sir, yes I have. Im sure you’re familiar with this one. “If we’re a fifth then we’d all be drunk”.
@@malikprince3305 point being they were just as successful with Bryce as with previous years.
Sayin will redshirt next year guys.
Unless Milroe implodes and rest QBs are garbage, Sayin will redshirt or be QB2
Alabama has a Cardiac Kids type of team.
I wish Paul would become a coach so he could fail miserably lol
Why is Matt stuck on this thing about Alabama not being explosive. Milroe had the highest ypa in the SEC before the A&M game. About the only way Alabama could score was explosive plays
i would love for espn to being someone who actually watch the games and know about the sport than finebaum. he really knows nothing about the game
The Saturday football insanity 🤪 😜 😳 what we're they thinking 🤔 🤣 😀?
Oklahoma will be a big force in the SEC
Paul has slammed Coach Saban so much, you can tell it's so hard to say anything positive about Alabama. It was a solid win in such a hostile environment. Paul saying you can "never trust" Alabama is just nonsentical. Get a grip Paul, too much drama. Don't be the Jerry Springer of college football.
He's been the Jerry Springer of college football since his days on Birmingham sports radio. A Shock Jock to his core.
Paul showing us week to week that he doesn’t know anything. He’s the Jerry Springer of sports.
OU is not the little brother here look at the record in the Big 12 ,Baker Mayfield has as many Big 12 championships as texas
Didn’t Texas whoop Alabama a couple of weeks ago? Why is the only point that Oklahoma and Texas always have to be afraid of the SEC? That LSU defense doesn’t look too terrifying.
Finebaum hates OU cause the AP voted OU as the top CFB program over his Tide. Finebaum is so biased he has no credibility anymore!!
Ol’ nerdy Finebaum doesn’t want to give Bama any credit. He is sour and changed the subject. Ha ha! 😂 Keep the doubters coming! RTR! 🐘
Ohio state's not beating Michigan again this year that's for sure
GA is clearly above everyone .... Can you say Three - peat
Stop it 🤣🤣 ur absolutely delusional☠️
Lmao 🤣 GA won't 3peat they are on the back of Brock bowers Georgia will lose twice one to Tennessee and Bama in the sec championship
Alabama will beat them
@@roderickchambliss948they’ll lose to a playoff favorite maybe not the season games
@@roderickchambliss948 Lmao 🤣 you clowns said the same thing last year
at 5:03, I thought Paul was about to say "Head F***ing Coach"
Venables fixing to take Sabans "king " spot
Saban abdicated his throne 2 years ago. Try to keep up. 😎
When? After the 🐐 retires? Keep the faith my friend
Until another coach wins 6 championships at a college, the throne isn't abdicated
The water is parting for Venables and OU having success in the SEC… Georgia took the top spot but staying there is tough
Just throwing this out there for the fun on it, but...would someone please straighten Paul's picture frames??
Lincoln Riley has to have a independent defensive coordinator to build & run a defense with the ability to run the defense as his own kingdom. As OU fan, glad to have Brent Venables with his desire for defense over Lincoln Riley.
Really enjoy this show each Sunday Morning!!👍👍
Can't stand Paul finebaum, He's sickening to listen to
“Miami’s place is at the top of the ACC”
THEY’VE NEVER WON THE DIVISION😂😂😂
I would like a USC/LSU bowl match up and ESPN should edit in pinball noises when each team scores.
I love how finebaum so nonchalantly says things as if they are facts like how a team is finished for the season, and how it's just a matter of time yet is wrong the majority of the time. Alabama was done for, no way they could beat a&m.... If you want to win bets, just bet the opposite of his predictions.
During the LR era a National Championship was never possible with the Defense they had.
Love the taylor swift connection 😂😂😂
He said OU followed Texas to the SEC because they’re big brother. Bro have you watched any of the big 12 in the last 10 years?? 😂 Texas will never be big brother
I’ve been hearing for 2 weeks that Johnson is a better qb for Texas AM and what they trying to do. Nope Johnson was not good yesterday.
Alabama fan here, we will meet Georgia in the SEC champ. Pay back time.
The only thing JIMBO could have done is paid the ref more money. Alabama tried hard to give that game to Texas A&M and the refs tried even harder.
Bama inconsistency and self inflicted wounds are tough to watch, never seen a Sabans team so up and down.
Now i see what everyone else was saying when we had Riley. He gets good QB's, hes a good OC, but he's not a good head coach, and nis teams arent contenders, PERIOD.
If I’m on the Miami athletic staff, im having a meeting with Mario TODAY, “another stunt like Saturday and you’re done” bc I mean that was just ignorant on so many levels.
The same defense they killed Oklahoma with! Grinch is a disaster, and nobody missed Lincoln, except young fans that doesn’t know much about football.
Go Georgia Bulldogs 🏈🏈🏈 They're back 🏈🏈🏈
In hindsight, Lincoln Riley leaving to USC was the best thing to happen to OU.
Why did no one on Miami's staff mention to Mario Cristobal..."hey, let's take a knee"?
Alabama goes into college station and wins with 14 penalties and 23 rushing yards and these dudes wanna act like they are still lost 😂😂 what do they pay y’all for
