That's because you're only looking at wins and losses. Of course that's part of it, but Georgia has won two titles since Bama has won one, and that one was during the Covid year, a season no one took seriously.

True, but that's only one way to look at it. Another way to look at it is that Georgia has been the talk of the "new standard." Add to that the fact that they've won two titles since Bama has won one, and the one they did win was during the Covid year, and no one took that season seriously. Also, one of Georgia's titles is against Bama. These two have also played all-time classic games (though Bama usually finds a way to win).

Its not a rivalry Bama is 5-1 against us the last 6 times we've played them If we make that even then ok but we haven't beat Bama enough to be considered their rival! Bama is the preeminent program in the SEC. Losing a national title game in which Agiye Hall (look up his story its wild) was their best receiver and then losing by a combined 4 to Tenn and LSU on the road doesn’t mean that UGA is any better. Kirby Smart has never beaten a top 8 team on the road. UGA never passed Bama. The East simply fell behind the West. Bama wins Saturday and has a better season as divisions no longer exist.
