I was struggling so damn hard and then realised that this is in fact a fire-element boss. Switching from my Messmer's spear to 2 Uchis and following your tips made it a cakewalk (thank god I was 55 dex). Nice video! Thanks!

What are your talismans?
Good question. I think at the time I had the flamedrake+3, dragoncrest greatshield, shard of Alexander and rotten insignia, but I could be wrong. That's my usual setup on this character. Maybe switch flamedrake or dragoncrest out for Flock's.
What wepon are you using?
That's the simple Backhand Blade. Found early in the DLC. It's excellent!

A combination of a good weapon, the right talismans, a bit of bleed, aggressive playstyle, scad frags - it adds up.
@@CernyGaming the scadutree fragments are enormously important - most players are around level 15 here, and it's going to be more difficult if you're much lower
