I love how literally all sitcoms have the characters in pajamas and nightgowns with robes and slippers and the elderly ladies with their hair in curlers during the night scenes just to drive home to the viewers that it is in fact nighttime
Rest in peace to Gary Coleman And Rest in peace to Conrad Brain and Rest in peace to Dana Plato they were the best role ever in Different Strokes show R.I.P
Willis was always trying to leave from the first show 😂 how did he know Jerry wanted him to live with him, he probably didn't 😂 and he should have appreciated a father looking out for him, he'd be sad if he wasn't there looking out for him
Of the 3 children, “Willis” always gave “Drummond” trouble. He wanted to be in a gang, being disrespectful, disobeying his dad, using a fake ID, didn’t wanna go to college, etc. However, it was great for the show cuz it added tension. If not for that it would’ve just been a sappy show.
I say good for Willis. He should do what he feels is right. I think him striking out to do his own thing is healthier than to stay stuck in some elites paradise that he has zero responsibilities this will teach Willis how to be responsible for himself vs letting daddy’s dollars take care of everything.
@@YTWarrior100I certainly don’t. You won’t believe it, but when I was living with my parents, they never grounded me ONCE! not once! I did some pretty dumb things in my life but I won’t bore you with that

I love how calm Mr. Drummond is. Yes. It's only a television show but he's exemplary with his composure.

🤣🤣🤣
Well, many sitcoms take place entirely inside. Dressing in sleepwear tells the viewer it is night time.
Nothing like old fashioned tough love kids of today need it!!
Rest in peace to Gary Coleman And Rest in peace to Conrad Brain and Rest in peace to Dana Plato they were the best role ever in Different Strokes show R.I.P
And Nedra Volz and Charlotte Ray
Don't forget Dixie Carter and Mary Ann Mobley
And Charlotte Rae a.k.a Mrs. Garrett.
It's Conrad Bain not Brain.
@@DebraHarrison-b2xLol right 😂. I noticed that too.
Drummond acted like a typical daddy🙂
When a parent birth, adopted, or/and foster said no partying or drinking, they meant no to either
Tod Bridges was playing himself in this episode.
At least he got his life together
And grew uo

Also he was on the TV series Fish
He was doing WHAT with himself?!?! 😲
I laughed when Willis grabbed the bannister and it was loose the set built 😂😂😂
Nice catch, I never caught that 😂
Yeah, I've always noticed that. Are there even banisters like that?
@@YTWarrior100 Maybe 🤔🤣

~RIP Walt Disney~

Since Willis went, it could've been the last time Mr Drummond, Arnold, and Kimberly saw him. If someone drove him home drunk...
Oh yes he will
From Now There’ll No More Drinking, No More All Night Party No More Anything. You Are Grounded For A Month 0:35
He Right Under His Roof

A bird's gotta fly, fish gotta fry

Mr Drummond Is Very Disappointed In Willis That He Went Straight To The Party 0:15
Classic
Willis once moved into the apartment of comedian Freddy Lewis. Naturally, Lewis tried to charge Willis an exorbitant amount for rent.
This is a lot better than GTA 5 and 6 stories.
That’s more stubborn than smart
Man Willis showed early that he was going be trouble later in life
The Growing Pains episode Second Chance seems to be a partial remake of this.
The secrets of hillsong it’s a great show from blue pictures television.
Sad that this show is gone…
Sad that all of them except for Todd Bridges have died. At least Conrad Bain was old but the others weren't.
It's on Rewind TV
Yeah well it couldn't last forever
It aired on NBC, then ABC...

@jessyleppert2 My prayers to you.
No she broke up with me because I was drinking
How dare you come home at this hour? I would have said would you rather I not come home at all?
Well, in this situation my friend, you'll have to get out of the Drummond's house. Already you don't wanna follow some rules.

He came back after his friend got drunk, drover, got into an accident and died.
Carl Winslow is just like Phillip Drummond

Little known fact: Comedian Freddy Lewis used to dress up like Pearl on first dates. There was never a second date. xoxo The Clarences
if I recall I believe his friend died in this episode.
Yup. Car accident. Willis was injured too.
It would've abruptly ended Different Strokes
And Willis eventually gave in to drugs and stuff. The poor dear.
Todd Bridges and Mary Jo Catlett are still alive, the others have passed on, some at young ages.
@@jrcasselman So is Danny Cooksey, and recurring actors Shavar Ross and Janet Jackson
