- We gained a bunch of subscribers thanks to the Sega Genesis "Next 10", so now it's time to lose a few in order to keep the universe properly balanced out. I've had a fascination with golf video games ever since I got "Bandai Golf: Challenge Pebble Beach" for the NES when I was maybe 12 years old. When I got into the TurboGrafx-16 and PC Engine maybe 15 years ago, I ended up with a couple of golf games for it, and ever since then I've thought it would be neat to try to collect all of them (since they're so cheap anyway).
I was finally able to realize my dream (lol) and get a copy of basically every golf game for the system. There were only 2 golf games released for the TurboGrafx-16 on HuCard, and I have both of those, but I don't have the only game released on North American Turbo CD because I have the Japanese version. There was also some anime-based interactive novel type of game released on the Super CD called "Go! Go! Birdie Chance", but I don't even really count that one because while it uses golf as a backdrop, and you do play some golf in the game, I wouldn't personally consider it a proper golf game.

I tried something a little bit different with this video, in that while it features recorded voice over, I didn't write a script. Instead, when I played each game I took notes, and then I sat in front of my microphone with my notes in front of me and just talked about each game. After that I recorded a bunch of game play footage and edited it all together.
I have to thank a viewer and Discord regular named Eric for encouraging me to make this episode. He is like me a golf game aficionado, and when I casually mentioned that it would be neat to make an episode like this, he voiced his approval.
