Amaryllis Care, After Flowering

In this video I show how to care for an amaryllis plant once it has finished flowering. I talk about cutting the flower stem, staking the leaves and how much light and feed it requires.

Thank you! I had removes the flower and then the stem on mine but hadn't done anything else with it since as I thought I had to pack it up and store it. Now given it some water and just leaving it be as the leaves are nice and green.

Wish I saw this earlier, intuitively I was just wanting to cut off the withered flowers by their tiny bulbs, but I had been instructed by several sources to cut off part of the stem while still green

FIRST tie the string to the stake because it will slip down if you don't do this.
