  • In this video I do some landscape photography with my Nikon D850. A stunning fiery sunset at Toorbul in Queensland, Australia. Carrying on from last week's video at the same location where I was photographing birds and blue soldier crabs with the D850, I stuck around for the sunset and I'm so glad I did. But it almost didn't happen, find out why in the video.

    Wow! Nature turned on the magic for you there. That pink was intense. So glad you stayed. The gap between the clouds was so tiny, I didn't think it would do anything either. Beautiful result in the end.

      Hey Rob - thanks so much for watching. How you been doing? Is the heat starting to back off up there yet now it’s coming into Autumn 🍂 You must get out and get those leaf colours with the Z7II. Actually that’d be a good video is doing a portrait session (with your awesome lenses) in front of the Autumn colours, bet you’d get some nice golden afternoon light too. Take care my friend 👍🙏📸

      @@adrianalfordphotography Hey there Adrian. I've been doing quite well. Life has been a wee bit hectic over the last month but things are starting to slow down finally. Moved into a new(er) house and about to finish up my current project. Plus, the heat has dropped way off. Now our average temps are in the teens (finally) and the rain has returned. We're getting really close to getting those gorgeous Autumn colors (probably within the next week or two). Might just have to get out there with those colors and get some portraits in. Cheers and hope you are having a great week!

      Mate thanks for watching. I don’t know how many times I’ve driven away fron a location only to see the sky light up on the way home 🤷‍♂️ Maybe it was the patience I’ve learned… or maybe it was the fact my boot was stuck in the mud that afternoon 😂😂 but at least I got to capture it all. • @paulcookphotography
    @paulcookphotography 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I didn't think you were going to get much of a sunset by looking at the sky early in the film and then BAM, Mother Nature lit it up for you! Patience is the key and you've shown that perfectly in this video. Beautiful images you got that evening, that sky was on fire!! Great video Adrian, really enjoyed it as always! Hope you're doing well and having a great weekend!

    • @adrianalfordphotography
      @adrianalfordphotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Spot on Paul, patience is the key. Hang in there and wait. It was either that or my boot was stuck in the mud and I couldn’t get it out 😂 I’m so happy it did light up. Maybe I could’ve got the D850 a tad lower in the water but I didn’t want to risk it. Already lost one camera that way and once is enough in a lifetime 🤷‍♂️ Thanks for watching mate, have an awesome weekend, cheers 🍻🤙🙏📸

    Hi Adrian, a great video. Just one critique: You have put your camera in the wrong way onto your tripod, haha :)
    I'm just kidding - you got out fantastic photographs. So good, that you got down that low, to get enough mountain reflection. Cool tripod ;)
    Have a great weekend,
    Christian

    • @adrianalfordphotography
      @adrianalfordphotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching Christian. Glad you enjoyed the video. I do like getting down low with that camera, but I am monitoring closely so it does not drop into the water. Then that really spoils the party. Have a great weekend my friend, cheers 📸🙏👍
