I was born in November 1969. I was a teen in the 1980s and a young adult in the 1990s. I feel privileged since I enjoyed the best decades ever when I was still young. The XXI century only brought bad entertainment, bad music, political hatred, dangerous divisions in society, stupidity, and to top it all, a lethal desease. I feel very sad that it is my generation that basically rule the world today. What have we done? What have we become?
So true, I was born in the early 2000s and watch this video is a unbelivable rollercoaster. I wish i could be born in the 90s or other decade like this, every single person has a point of view with every year that grew up, the experience with so beautiful things and born too, but those years were the best for many persons all around the world. We've been enjoyed so many things in this life and those years are a home for us. Still missing the 2010s like it was yesterday
I feel sorry for the generations that couldn't experience this era. For those of us who were born, grew up, and lived through this time, we are left with a sweet taste of the greatest decade in human history.
We truly were and I'm very thankful to God I was born in this great era. Sure there were some problems, but I felt like regardless we kept it all together. Truly the last of the great decades and I loved every minute of it.
I was glad…..when it was over. In fact a lot of the things that get “90”s cred” in this abortion of a tribute got their start in the 80’s! The 80’s FOREVER!
I’m born 1983 and I love many things of the 80s. But I can’t remember on everything. But the 90s is completely in my head. I love the 90s. It was not just the good times, but mostly. I can say, that I was born on the right year to be on the perfect age in every decade for me. Big love for the 80s, 90s and 2000s!
Same. I was also born in 1983 and most of the childhood/teen stuff I remember is the '90s. I only started appreciating the '80s stuff in the 2000s. P.S. The 2010s was kinda alright. Social media is a black hole and caused a LOT of problems, but last decade was when I finally got a proper job enough to buy pop culture stuff I liked in the '90s lol, which continues to this very day (my desk is practically a shrine to cool '90s anime lol (GOTS, Akira, Space Adventure Cobra, Cutie Honey, Violence Jack)).
since youre so specific id like to know: what change for you after 2010 that it didnt make the list anymore? what was better in the 2000s compared to the 2010s?
The unrivalled 90s... trapped between the fall of the Berlin wall ('89) and 9/11... Many of us who experienced the 90s in our teens and twenties feel we were pushed into a different timeline thereafter.
Best 90s nostalgia clip I've ever seen. Makes me wish I had a time machine to go back there right now and live through it all again (a time machine that also makes me 18 again too!)
Oh man. I was born in 1981. So, im a late 80's early 90's kid. I could never imagined i would make it till today. But here I am at 42 alive and married. Kids life pass like a rocket. Enjoy it as much as possible.
Tell me youre from the best generation without telling me you're from the best generation. "Tonight, Tonight" A kid from the 80's and youth in the 90's. I got the best of both. Thank you for yet another fantastic edit. And kudos for using my favorite band as the theme song.
The 90's were like the culmination of so many different random trajectories of pop-culture, history and technology into one perfectly jumbled mess that just worked.
I was born in 1991, and now im a 31 years old fella who is a divorced father, working his ass off every day to live. Im shedding a tear right now while watching this video. I miss the 90s like a baby missing his mom. I miss Toy Story, Terminator 2, Speed, Forest Gump, SeaQuest, Zorro, Scream 1-2. Surprisingly, English isn't my first language, I learned english from watching movies, especially 90s movies.
The scene from Twister was my favorite. I still remember the exact day I saw that movie for the first time. After that, it became one of ny favorite movies ever.
Desperately waiting for an extended version of this. If any decade deserves it besides the 80's, it's the 90's. It's my opinion, 80's and 90's best decades ever.
I agree. Neither promotion was doing much of note in the early '90s (dark ages), but by the mid-'90s, both promotions stepped up and provided some entertaining angles and matches.
WCW and WWF were at their absolute peak during the 90s! WWE will never reach the same popularity it had during the attitude era, it's just a fact. So it makes perfect sense for wrestling to be included in a 90s pop culture tribute, as they contributed a lot to it.
Came here to say this exact same thing. Unless u were a teenager at the time, youll never understand how from 1997 to 1999 wwf/wcw was the most important tv show in some of our lives. It will never be replicated
Damn the memories and how time fly's by. Kids these day got screwed on what magic feels like and to be excited about something really means. The 90s was the bomb. Oh the pain of how I want to go back to that time.
I feel your pain. The '90s were by no means perfect but I would be more then willing to trade all the technology and "quality of life" improvements that we have today to go live in the '90s again. What we had back then was more then good enough for me and there wasn't near as much craziness and stupidity going on as there is today.
Not bad. It's hard to catch lightning in a bottle twice. Your 80's tribute is untouchable and the best 80s montage ever created. I've watched probably 50 times
It’s impossible to make a 90s tribute with the same feels as the 80s one because of one simple obvious reason: 90s is not 80s. Every decade has a different tone, a different vibe, a different personality, different memories. I can put 90s images with Waiting for a Star to fall but that wouldn’t work 😄. Thanks for your comment! Cheers bro!
@@thevintagetribute I completely agree that the 80s and 90s are very different decades. I just think your 80s montage was better in how well you made the transitions and made your edit choices. I can see you really took a lot of time to match the video content with the lyrics and key changes in your 80s mix. This 90s edit is really good, better than your first 90s video, and I can see you put a lot of time in this one as well. It's just that your 80s montage is not only better because of the decade, it's better in your song choice and edits. Somebody else suggested New Radicals -Get What You Give. I think you could do an amazing 90s montage with that one. It would match the positive vibes of Waiting for a Star to Fall 😁 Big fan! Keep up the great work!
@@thevintagetribute The 80's one was awesome, this is also great but I don't like the song so much, I wish you would have uploaded it with a different one
Agreed for me the 80s tribute seemed to resonate much more - but its completely subjective and of course many people will prefer the 90s tribute. We can all appreciate how much work was put into to editing all these videos and capturing the iconic moments. Keep em coming!
I was born in 69, was an 80s teen, but I was in my 20s and just starting out in the 90s and this hits for me- most of it, we were looking forward to a new millienium and a new dawn that never happened. I doubt the 2000s would have the same impact. I've seen and relate to most of this 90s stuff. It ain't 80s, but it works.
I'm legitimately crying right now because I was born in 91 and now I'm 30 but I remember all of this like it was yesterday. These were definitely the best times of my life growing up as a kid
Wow. I started the 90s at 13 and ended at 23. So this clip took me from puberty to owning my first home. Couldnt have picked a better song than this one either. Great job, thanks
@@joev3770 It was very achievable back then, but not without sacrifice. I didn't earn much, but i saved nearly all my pay and lived with my parents until I bought the place (with my boyfriend, who also earned only a small wage). These days it's so hard to get on the property ladder, even for high earners. No wonder people feel so disheartened. I was just lucky.
I was born a year after you so like you the 90s were mostly my teenage years. Such great memories like going to see Independence Day, the 96 Euros held in the UK and Britain once again being the centre of both the music and fashion world.
I was born in the 2000's and I really wish that I was born in the 70's so I could experience the 90's in my teen years. I love so much about it and it's a shame that things are so different nowadays. I wish that I was alive while River was alive, and when Nirvana was still a band. I wish that I could see all those movies on the premieres, go to concerts and just experience this.
Well, at least some of the movies from the 90s get a re-release in theaters from time to time. The Matrix was back in theaters for a short time last year before Resurrections came out, and Titanic will be back in cinemas on Feb. 9 for it's 25th anniversary, and I can't wait to see it the way it was meant to be seen (I was 7 when it came out, so I missed out). Jurassic Park (June) and Saving Private Ryan (September) also turn 30 and 25 this year, so I'm crossing my fingers we get a re-release of those as well🤞🏻🤞🏻
Born in ‘83, so my memories of most of the 80’s is a bit foggy, but I recall everything in this video like it was yesterday. Can’t wait to see what you do with the ‘00s and ‘10s. Keep up the good work!
I was born in 1981 and I am super nostalgic about the 80’s and 90’s, but the 80’s conjures up more emotions for me personally. It doesn’t matter though, we were born in the very best time to be a kid, weren’t we?
@@user-ld2qx5yw3h I was born in November 1969. Therefore I lived the 1980s as a teenager and the 1990s as a young adult. I feel privileged for that. And I tell you the 1990s were great but the 1980s had something different, something that is difficult to put in words.

Not many videos bring a tear to my eye, but this one certainty did. This video embodies the 90's brilliantly, and reminds me over and over again how entertainers were so innovative in this decade. It seems like no one wants to try anymore. Michael Jackson's Scream video was so ahead of it's time with it's futuristic theme and the fact that he and his sister did it together made it even more iconic! I am in awe of this video, it brought back a floodgate of memories, thank you ❤
Though MJ always had timeless songs, SCREAM was one (if not the most) of his most RAW, STOMPING and DELICIOUS pieces,. It shakes you to your very butthole. Truly ahead of its time.
I was born in November/1969. I think it is a privilege to have been teen in the 80s and young adult in the 90s. We fully lived the two decades that represented nothing less than the peak of human civilization.

Old enough to remember the 80s very well and was 10 at the beginning of the 90s and ended it as a young woman of 19....and I will tell u this..there is no greater modern Era than what was the 90s..seeing this gave me goosebumps. 90s teens were just different. We were more mature and independent than most teens in other decades. Just a worldly sense about us. Lol I can't explain it you just have to know
Born in 89 and this is extremely nostalgic, pretty much recognized everything in this video. All of your videos are outstanding, the editing and the music is perfect. Proud 90s kid over here, this is the best tribute I’ve seen for the 90s decade by far.

The pain and love of my childhood, something I wish I could have lived to the fullest, but could never go back to even if I had the option. Bittersweet.
I'm an '80s kid and a '90s teen. This is the decade that made me a lifelong fan of the Street Fighter series. Getting me out of the arcades back then was hard work! As for music, '90s music sounded so much different from '80s music. Nirvana's emergence and the continued rise of hip hop were huge factors in the music landscape's drastic change.
Literally the greatest decade of my lifetime. The end of a century, the uprising of technology, yet still personally connected before the advent of social media. Graduated high school in 97. What a time to be alive.
I still love the 80s way more, but I would go back to the 1990s any day, than deal with this hell hole we're in now! I had some great memories of my life back then. With that said, really, after 2000 it was all down hill from there and it's never gone back up, 21 years later. In a sense the world ended after the 20th Century. The game was over, and we've been on overtime ever since. I think that guy with the captain's hat even said that at the end! I think we all felt like that too.
The music selection made this even more special.. the clips didn’t seem random.. this felt weird in a good way, on one hand it made me a little sad but on the other hand it made me smile and reminded me of all the good times I had as a kid with all my different friends I grew up with that I don’t see anymore
What a beautiful film, it brings me a lot of good memories. All 90s popculture in one place. As 90s kid I always look at all this stuff with a lot of nostalgia. I remember 90s as a decade full of joy. It was so colorfull, so bright, so brilliant. People from Eastern Europe finally could celebrate their freedom fully after the collapse of the USSR. A brand new Era was born. Great film. Best wishes from Poland!
My friend, your work is done! You've captured the essence of the 70s, 80s and now the 90s, before innocence was lost. In the words of Alec Guinness, "Rest easy, son. You've had a busy day. You're fortunate to be all in one piece!"

Born in the same year also
Men I've been thinking the same for yearss 💪
since youre so specific id like to know: what change for you after 2010 that it didnt make the list anymore? what was better in the 2000s compared to the 2010s?
*90s music, movies, and fashion will never go out of style.*
The unrivalled 90s... trapped between the fall of the Berlin wall ('89) and 9/11... Many of us who experienced the 90s in our teens and twenties feel we were pushed into a different timeline thereafter.
Yea after 9/11 there were many negative shifts, absolutely. Until we find out what actually happened, will likely persist.
So grateful I got to grow up in the 90s before social media and smart phones changed everything.
Best 90s nostalgia clip I've ever seen. Makes me wish I had a time machine to go back there right now and live through it all again (a time machine that also makes me 18 again too!)
Okay seriously how do you do this? How is that a montage of unrelated media capable of evoking so much memories and emotions???
You are a true master.

I just feel so blessed to have grown up in the 90’s it was truly a magical time
Oh man. I was born in 1981. So, im a late 80's early 90's kid. I could never imagined i would make it till today. But here I am at 42 alive and married. Kids life pass like a rocket. Enjoy it as much as possible.
1990 baby ❤ 90s were the best absolutely I want it back so desperately
Tell me youre from the best generation without telling me you're from the best generation.
"Tonight, Tonight"
A kid from the 80's and youth in the 90's. I got the best of both. Thank you for yet another fantastic edit. And kudos for using my favorite band as the theme song.
☝🏾🎯😀
Same here! Childhood in the 80s, youth in the 90s!
Here another 80s/90s kiddo/teen, seriously the best!
Me too! I'm an 81 baby. 😄
I wish I was born in '79.
The 90's were like the culmination of so many different random trajectories of pop-culture, history and technology into one perfectly jumbled mess that just worked.
Best description! It was a lot of fun!
I can't fin better words...
born in the late 70s , kid in the 80s and teen in the 90s . man I really got to live during the best of history. thank you for this.
Born 1978. Who knew we were blessed to live during one of the best times in human history.
Born 1975 and can't love this statement more. How lucky were we?!?!
Born in ‘69, teenage years in the 80’s and my twenties in the 90’s, priceless..
90s even better
Amen.
I selfishly wish this was an hour long
I Was born in 1989 and this just hits a huge wave of nostalgia and emotions 🥹🥹 this tribute is amazing ❤️
I love how you included a lot of wrestling clips in this tribute. WWF and WCW were the most entertaining shows on TV back then IMO.
Raw was the number one show on monday nights. They had to be in this video.
Came here to say this exact same thing. Unless u were a teenager at the time, youll never understand how from 1997 to 1999 wwf/wcw was the most important tv show in some of our lives. It will never be replicated
The only bad thing was the boy band craze... and lou pearlman, who created them. lol!
Now we see them everywhere.
Born in '87, Thank God I was able to live the 90s to the fullest.
The 80s and The 90s BEST ERA: in Fashion Music and Life Style, We can get enough. Lucky to be alive in this ERA.
80's-90's the golden era of entertainment.Miss that era's.2000+ entertainment was dead.
I literally cried... this is BEAUTIFUL!!! Born in 87, the 90's were the best
Have rewatched this about 71 times. Such a great montage of a great era. Its not up for a debate, the 90s were the best.
@@d0npian0 yeah it takes multiple hrs, days & weeks as well 🙄 but when you've big heart ❤️ beat, nothing beats you down 👊💯
Thank you for this. 1987 here, so glad to have been able to experience real prank calling.
You owned a house at 23? Must've been nice.
And I started the 90s at 3 and ended at 13. Still remember it so vividly and miss the excitement of that decade.
45 soon! I am a 90s teenager and 90s was awesome! Greetings from Romania, Genetation Mates!
Don’t you mean the 80s so you can be a kid or teenager in the 90s?
@@cheesesteak2795 I should have been more clear, but I wish that I was in my late teens in the 90's
Jurassic Park (June) and Saving Private Ryan (September) also turn 30 and 25 this year, so I'm crossing my fingers we get a re-release of those as well🤞🏻🤞🏻
It was.🥰 I was born in1977, in Stockholm, Sweden. The 80-ies lingured throughout 1992. For me, a dowmward spiral after 1997...😐
Wishing To be Born In The 70's So That You Can Be A Teen In The 90's But Born In The 00's. This Is One Reason Why The 90's We're The Greatest Times.
Reading the comments, I’m glad I’m not the only one who cried while watching this. The 90s were unmatched and one of the BEST times to be a kid!
I am not so much sad that it’s gone; I’m just happier that I lived through it. Long live the 1990s, one of the greatest decades of all-time.
Born in ‘83, so my memories of most of the 80’s is a bit foggy, but I recall everything in this video like it was yesterday. Can’t wait to see what you do with the ‘00s and ‘10s. Keep up the good work!
Ehhh, I feel like the '00 and '10's will be a bit lack luster...
@@SlapShotRegatta22 early 00s were great though, It was basically still the 90s until 911
Born on 83 also so this is a total flashback!!!
This literally hurts. I'm crying.Nostalgia IMO,is pure anguish. This was the time of my life. I've not known happiness in the same way since.
Your last sentence summed it up.
Trust me I feel the same way

Everyone one was happier back then, and rode a skateboard ............90s I luv u
The 90s there will never be a decade like it again ever it was a one of a kind decade and seeing those clips from WCW and WWE made me smile remember watching them during that time with my dad eating TV Diners and drinking Dr Peppers
esp cuz of MJ
I'm an 80s kid but the 90s by far had the best bar songs ever!!!!!

the 90s will always be where i remember times being the best...ive lived through the 80, 90, 2000s, 2010, and 2020s now...if forced to choose a decade to be stuck in forever, i wouldnt think twice, the 90s all day
i was born a couple months after 9/11, when America was no longer the same. i wish we could go back! to the 70s, 80s or 90s. At the same time, I have to remember that life is what you make it and the best time to be alive is now .
It made me cry....I feel so old and hopeless
you aren't alone buddy. although we may be old, we definitely ain't hopeless.
I love you, hang in there
As a 90s kid who endured a lot of trauma and has mostly forgotten almost off of his childhood, thank you for this. This was a wild ride and I wish I could experience it all again.
Every time i watch this i get chills. The 1st time i saw this i had tears in my eyes
PLEEEEEEEASE MAKE AN HOUR LONG VERSION OF THIS LIKE YOU DID YOUR 80s special PLEASE!!!! THIS IS MY CHILDHOOD 😩
Proud to see Twister and Contact squeezed in there!
An extended one for this would be great like the 80s.
Wowzer!! What an EPIC time capsule!! Stellar job!!
Born in '87, but I grew up in the 90s!! Man, what a time!!
Same. April '87. Breathed the 80s movies and TV as I grew up also enjoying the 90s.
Wow, even included Selena. Incredible job. Forever 90's!
I was happy to see that --- she died tragically in 1995 but she made a big impact that decade
and MJ
Rest In Peace Selena
90's was a great time to be a kid.
Lived my 20's in the 90's. Great friends, movies, music. and great memories.
I was born in November/1969. I think it is a privilege to have been teen in the 80s and young adult in the 90s. We fully lived the two decades that represented nothing less than the peak of human civilization.
insanely good cut, I'm having goose bumps
its so painful every time the realization of time past and years lost forever dawns upon me. only hurts more every time. i miss my family, friends, & pets who have passed on. nostalgia is a beautiful and agonizing thing.
Born in the perfect year to experience it all ...1979! Lol I can't explain it you just have to know
1974 here
I agree. Great time to be alive. Obviously I'm biased, but I've always though I was lucky to be born in '79.

Both my heart and soul are forever in the 90s
Literally the greatest decade of my lifetime. The end of a century, the uprising of technology, yet still personally connected before the advent of social media. Graduated high school in 97. What a time to be alive.
I was born in 1988, so I'm a child of the 90's and a teenager of the 2000s. This brings back so many memories. Oh, the nostalgia...
I think we all felt like that too.
we need an extended version of this (like the 80s pop culture special)
I seriously think we need an extended version of every decade
Absolutely agree with you guys!!!!
Born in the 80's and grown up in the 90s. God I miss the 90's so much it was one hell of a good decade Thank you for the memories
The music selection made this even more special.. the clips didn’t seem random.. this felt weird in a good way, on one hand it made me a little sad but on the other hand it made me smile and reminded me of all the good times I had as a kid with all my different friends I grew up with that I don’t see anymore
This was definitely my Generation and decade... heck of a time!
Was born in 1987 I remember all of this. Movies were just on a different level back then. 80s and 90s. Just brings back great memories as a kid.
The 90's was very well rounded with variety.
