Roblox UGC is not Innocent too. They're adding WW2 German Officer hats, Symbols, German 1933-1935 flags, Helmets and more... I don't want to talk about 2d clothings.
I like when Something that could harm Roblox's reputation, Moderation is as fast asf. But when Its anything like SFMW content or literally exposed predators on their playform, they do N O T H I N G .
The shift to a more mature audience can be seen even in the experience developing space, First of they are planning to replace the marketplace to a USD Store, which will allow to directly pay in USD for any type of asset (kind of like Unity Asset store). Many kids that develop games are not able to pay directly in real credit which basically locks them out of quality assets. And effectively entirely from developing. This makes earning robux useless as it cannot be used to pay for assets anymore, this as i expect will cause roblox to remove robux entirely at some point and just make it so you pay directly for items ingame. My guess to why roblox is doing this is because they want to bring more mature audience to the platform, which will bring investors and companies which brings the KACHING!💸

Another game thats sorta similar to Roblox (in the sense tbat people can freely create their own games/worlds) called Rec Room is facing a similar problem, where people are publishing NSFW content just to gain more of the in-game currency thats used, **and that game is actively being marketed to children** ;_; its actually sad
It's because the Internet has and will never be welcoming to children. Children have never been safe on the Internet, and never will be. The Internet is anarchy. It is the duty of the parents to protect their children, not the duty of every single user on the Internet. Marketing something on the Internet to children is already a major red flag, and the presence of children on the Internet has NEVER and likely will never result in anything positive or beneficial for the greater good of the Internet. That's the end of the story.
